I understand that all deities are "Mantra-baddha" i.e., they are bound to manifest if the mantra is invoked. Further Srividya also teaches the equivalence of the Supreme Goddess Lalitha to her mantra form and her yantra form. We also know that each beejakshara has a specific vibrational energy. The ancient Rishis perceived and formulated various mantras in deep states of meditation and realization. I speculate that mantras fructify based on one of the two following mechanisms below. 1. The deities already exist in other dimensions (outside ordinary human perception) and the repeated, sincere chanting of their specific mantra, creates some form of a quantum bridge (antenna, communication line) to them to reach them and get their grace or siddhi of the mantra. You could argue that this is somewhat of a dvaitic view. 2. Alternately, the deities don't really exist in other dimensions at all. The human mind through repeated and concentrated focus on the mantra beejas actually create the vibrational energy form of the deity. We essentially create the power we seek through our tapas shakthi or sadhana power. Its like on-demand creation of this energy from a template (mantra). The sadhaka provides the energy (rocket fuel) to power this creation and identification with oneself. This could be somewhat of an advaitic view. Is 1) or 2) correct? Or is it something else at work altogether. There are implications. For example if its 2) the sole responsibility for mantra siddhi squarely rests with the sadhaks dedication and nothing else. Hi sir, my father has been diagnosed with cancer. If i chant Lalithasahasranam daily and apply the vibhuti on his forehead, can that benefit him. I want Godess's help to help him to get rid of this illness.

आदरणीय सर, मैं विगत लगभग एक वर्ष से श्री कुलार्णव तंत्र एवं श्री विद्यार्णव तंत्र में वर्णित " श्री पराप्रसाद महामंत्री" का प्रतिदिन महाषोढा न्यास के साथ ५ माला का जप करता हूं।
English Translation - Dear Sir, I have been reciting the Parāprāsāda mantra combined with the Mahāṣoḍhā nyāsa, five times a day for over a year, following the procedures described in the Kulārṇava Tantram and Śrīvidyārṇava Tantram.

Thanks Guruji. Will wait for someone who might know to respond with the info I was looking for (hope Jaganmata will provide me the info thru this medium). I agree with your statement on the initiation part, I was initiated into this mantra by my Guru (along with Bala and Panchadasi) more than 20 years ago. But I wasn’t told about Shapavimochana mantras at that time so I have been practising then ever since without the same. When I saw the information on this blog regarding Shapavimochana mantra for other Srividya mantras like Bala, I was curious about the same for Chandi Navakshari also. To seek clarification from my Guru on the same, he’s already attained the feet of Jaganmata, hence I asked here.

Various combinations of Vāñchā Kalpalatā Śrīvidyā Gaṇapati mantras exist, as combinations of mantras of other deities with those of Lord Gaṇeśa. You may refer to the books by Shri S.V. Radhakrishna Sastrigal that I have mentioned previously. There is no correlation to Varivasya Rahasya that I am aware of.

You may deploy any of the generic stotras that we have published for this purpose and accomplish the needful. Please be aware that an extremely potent and powerful mantra such as this, requires an initiation from a practicing guru.

Raviji, Thanks for your wonderful forum. I could see Mahaganapati Mantra, Gayathri, Bala and Panchadasi.. But there are sites that say this as well contains mantras of Kubera etc. I also chant Kubera mantra but I dont see a direct visible correlation. Is the relationship based on Varivasya Rahasyam?

Guruji, Is there any shapavimochana mantra needed for navakshari mantra also ? If so, can you please provide the same.

Yes, you are correct. Various practices such as prāṇāyāma, snāna, bhūtaśuddhi, mātṛikā nyāsas, prāṇa pratiṣṭhā, mantra saṃskāras etc. have to be performed prior to the mantra japa. There may be other rituals also, that could be mandated for specific deities. The tradition followed by the guru may have other stipulations as well, that need to be adhered to.

Yes it will increase gradually. Please continue with the practices and slowly the quality of your meditation and mantra japa will also be enhanced. It will change our very outlook and also give us better health and help us make more judicious decisions on all matters, improve our relationships which may eventually help us lead better lives.
