What is best for me, may not be the best for you and vice-versa. Mantra suitability can be tested through various means and I personally am not an expert in determining it. I believe that for those who are destined or have a great liking to a particular deity, are best suited for reciting the mantras of that particular deity. It is best to stick to one deity, before proceeding towards others, if such an interest exists or is mandated by one's tradition. In the path of Śrī Vidyā, the upāsana of Śrī Bālā Tripura Sundarī is considered to be the starting point. In some traditions, both Śrī Bālā and Śrī Mahāgaṇapati are preferred and initiated at the very start itself. It is a fact that the upāsana of Śrī Bālā Tripura Sundarī is more than enough, to achieve every single material and spiritual desire that one can conceive and beyond. To do so, it is essential, to follow the daily rituals associated with Her sādhana, which would also encapsulate worshipping Her yantra and reciting Her stotras etc.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. Mantras do not fully fructify without preparing the body first with: asana, pranayama, mudras/bandhas.

Thanks a lot krishna sir for your reply. Can you please also shed some light on the benefits of bala mantra & also if only 1 spiritual practice is to be taken & mastered, is it the best mantra for someone who is starting on the spiritual path.

The Divine Mother Śrī Bālā Tripura Sundarī, represents the seed of all the triads. Her very expansion is Śrī Rājarājeśvarī Lalita Tripura Sundarī, representing the expanded Kūṭas (sections) of the Most sacred Śuddha Pañcadaśī mantra. She represents everything in the entire Creation, even those that we cannot conceive with our intelligence and knowledge. She is infinite and is the unbounded super-consciousness. As far as concentration is concerned, it is best to practice the yogic breathing techniques classified under Prāṇāyāma. These breathing techniques combined with the alternate nostril breathing, must be practiced for months, to be able to gain a lot of focus and concentration, to perform mantra japa. One must also have complete faith before embarking on these types of spiritual quests. Faith and devotion, combined with the necessity and deep desire to acquire something, may help increase our concentration and seriousness towards such efforts.

Dear Ravi sir, Thank you for posting this article. I have a simple question regarding bala mantra, in Thomas Ashley ferrnand book, sakti mantras it is stated that bala mantra increases concentration. Can you please give your valuable insight on it. Thank you. May grace of divine Mother forever be upon us.

Dear Krishna, Thankyou so much for this blessing of an amazing service you are doing. I wanted to report a possible correction that needs to be made with this Kavacham. After the Anganyasaha some text is missing right below the Anganyasaha, i was able to see it by turning off my java script and highlighting it - the missing text is 'bhur bhuva ssuvarom iti digbandhah' just before the Dhyananam Love, Sandhya
