The subtle body is said to be the vehicle for rebirth. How is this done and where does Karma fit in ?

In nirvikalpa samadhi, we lose our body consciousness, but stay connected with Cosmic Consciousness. Realization happens in this stage of samadhi, but we will not be aware at the time of realization. This realization will happen in a split second. Once we comeback to our normal consciousness, we become a different person. Our perception would have transformed and we will look at the world through the eyes of Shiva.

When does realisation happen , is it during meditation where he is in Samadhi or when he realises that everything is Brahman. Point is when in Samadhi the person will not have any consciousness so ideally he does not know if he was one with the cosmic consciousness, but if one is able to feel that everything is his own self, this must be true realisation and this ideally should mean that he should have the that above said pure consciousness to really realise everything is Brahman and this should happen when he is awake as well?

After realization, surely there will be radiation in one's face. Face is the index of mind after all.
