Yes, there are variations from texts to texts regarding chandas. There is nothing wrong in what you have done. Don't worry.

It depends upon your place of residence. Usually, there are many who can initiate this mantra. If you are not able to find one, please write to me at ravi@manblunder.com

Soul is Pure. It is Sat-cit-ananda. Individual soul is also Pure, but it is veiled by maya. When maya is removed, you realize the Self within.

What is the different between soul and Soul, does it mean that soul is the casual body and Soul is the underlying Brahman in casual body?

It depends upon one's spiritual evolution. First, you can try to do it internally. At some point of time, your mind will tell you to stop this also. At that point of time, you will have to stop internal yajna also.

Is this point trying to say that performing ritual though gives material benefits in turn creates Karma or Karmic imprints. Point is we can perform the same rituals internally as well which is better option, but as we proceed even this internal ritual should be discarded except meditation?

Mind should be devoid of all dualities. Both pleasure and pain are products of mind. Therefore, mind should not be affected by these two. When you are free from these attachments, you always remain in Blissful state, the state of Brahman, which Krishna speaks about. If the mind is attached, then it surely causes karma.

How does one enjoy with an unafflicted mind. Meaning if there is an event you can be level minded and not worry about it, if it is good or bad outcome. But how does one enjoy without his mind getting afflicted. Meaning we can only be sober, so when one is sober then how does he enjoy the outcome?
