Sri Matre Namaha. Krishna Ji, I have done 3 mandalas of Ganapati Tarpana and 1 mandala of Homa with 250 Swahas each day. I have few queries regarding Ganapati Mantra Japa. I do japa 2hrs a day either in single sitting or 1hr per sitting. As of now I am doing Japa after Guru Dhyanam without Nyasa. Queries are : 1) During japa I adjust my sitting position due to numbness in the legs or due to any other body pains. 2) I do japa with open eyes or I do japa by standing if I feel sleepy. 3) My my mind keep wandering through out Japa. Please advice if I need make corrections in procedure or to take any special care. Sri Matre Namaha.

Does one have to chant one sloka, or can one chant multiple ones for different things? Does doing multiple ones make the energies interfere or anything? One more question....is chanting each sloka like 1000 times per day necessary for the slokas? Is that number of repetitions per day accurate? That seems very difficult for people with other things in their lives.

It is no secret that Kali Yuga has been going on for about 5,000 years, which will last another 427,000 years. In 2012, little Satya Yoga was to start in it, which will last 10,000 years. But it can not begin on earth, the dark forces that came to earth with the beginning of Kali Yoga do not want to leave it and thus do not allow the normal start of Little Satya Yoga. I ask everyone on this site every day to ask the Divine Mother (in any what forms and its manifestations), about the earliest onset of Satya Yoga, so that it alleviates the suffering of Mother Earth and the demons that parasitize on her. Let all people ask themselves: Who am I? Why do I live and die? What will happen to me after death? All the people on this site already have experience in spiritual practices, and we are all connected here by the karma of past lives, let's send to the world as much love, goodness, ask the Divine Mother for peace, light, love, joy in our world, I'm sure that Mom will hear us. I suggest to ask it at dawn and at sunset. Regardless of the place of residence it will create a wave of love, positive energies that will constantly cover the Earth.

According to text books, one has to repeat 1000 times for 45 days. This may not be possible. A few repetitions with complete devotion will help.

never do havan with that kavach in which we pray to god to save our body parts. it is a great sin. Do havan for mantras only in which specificlly body parts are not mentioned.

Hello readers, Recite this kavach only if u r in great danger. no matter u chant with hreem ,hleem or hlreem. This kavach will solve any problem. Never try to do harm for ur selfishness. For eg. if u r tenant and try to harm ur landlord in any case it is definately a sin because u r using his property and try to harm him. Must remember there is lord saturn who gives strong punishment for a sin. Just chant this kavach in ur prayer. Never try to harm others just pray to goddess to give u safety and happiness thats enough. God bless u all. I never got any guidance from anyone but because what mistakes i did ,i want nobody will repeat that thats y i wriiten my experience here. Love u all.

Please lookup the Sanskrit pronunciation of the letters "ṛ" and "ṇ". Each letter in Sanskrit is pronounced differently and the words formed by the letters, should also be pronounced as written. There are some very rare exceptions, which are learnt as part of the Sanskrit grammar. So the word "ṛṇa" is pronounced as "RRiNa" Most books written in English related to mantras with the IAST standard, will have a pronunciation guide, I would recommend looking it up, for easier diction. As always, it is best to get initiation when in doubt and seek the grace of a guru.

It is very difficult, but your best guide would be references from people you know and trust. As mentioned before, you may try the self-initiation method mentioned on this website and also documented in various books. Lord Dakṣiṇāmūrti is a form of Lord Śiva and also a prominent ṛṣi in Śrī Vidyā. You can follow the self-initiation method that describes seeking His grace for mantra sādhana.
