Namaste! This website has turned out to be a blessing to all the seekers. My sincere pranams to all of those who have spent your time and energies for bringing this together! Thank you. In Naama 124 Sarvani, one of the cosmic forms of Siva being "Sarva" is interpreted to represent earth. However, in the immediate next line, the interpretation changes to Sarva form representing water element. Am I reading this wrong? Please clarify.

Thank you sir. I am in a total confusion all these days, mind has been wandering from one mantra to another. Unable to concentrate on anything. I want to do something but don't know what that is. I want to be wealthy (both spiritually and materialistically). I feel blessed that you posted this mantra. I have chanted this mantra for a couple of minutes and felt some vibrations in the body which I have never experienced with any mantra earlier. I believe this is the right one for me. But I have a question. I read that there are 8 forms of Bhairava, in which Sri Swarnakarshana Bhairava is not present. Then who is Sri Swarnakarshana Bhairava? As I understand devatas fall under different planes like lower and higher, what type of mantra is this? Lower or Higher? Thank you.

If you are reciting purely for the love of poetry, please do so at any place that is convenient for you. If you are planning to recite them as part of mantra japa, then it is important to seek guidance from a practicing guru who can assist you with this and provide detailed information on how to perform the japa with all the procedures. It is generally suggested to focus on the dhyāna śloka for mantra japa. In this particular case, you may focus on the meaning of the respective śloka that you are reciting.

This question can be answered from various perspectives based on the philosophies one may follow. From the mantra śāstra angle, It is believed that advanced sadhana-s like śrīvidya or daśamahāvidya-s may help burn karma much faster and take one towards self-realization. This by itself is changing fate. It can be easily argued that this happens only for those who are fated to succeed. The argument can also be made as to how one can predict one's fate? Even from an astrological angle, there are always some means available for help, although they may seem very hard to hang on. If one truly has the belief and can put immense effort towards mantra japa, then there will surely be some benefit. If you have the ability to take the plunge, then do so by all means. It is also very important that you find a proper guru to guide you on this path. Only then, one can truly see some progress over time.

Two questions: 1. Can these Slokas be chanted anywhere mentally? Like in a car, or in public, etc? Or does it have to be in sort of a meditative and quiet environment? 2. What does one have to be thinking of when chanting a sloka? For example, let's say one desires to get hired for a job and chant specific slokas for that. Do they need to think about having that job already? Basically, imagining the desired outcome while chanting? Or maybe just think of Devi while chanting is good enough? Thank you

In this kali yuga, how can a person become free of karma/grahas influence and write his own fate/destiny? Which mantra/tantra gives that power? In short, how can one negate all karmas/ negate all graha influences and walk the path of his choice, without any worries/obstacles?

The location of the deities were marked incorrect. The directions specified were correct. I made the respective changes to the yantra. Please verify and let me know if you still find any discrepancies. I'll be glad to lookup and rectify.

Not at this time. There seems to be very little interest on the navagrahas and we are not planning on continuing the series anytime soon. The documents on sanskritdocuments.org are peer checked for quality and content. You can definitely rely on them. You may go ahead and recite the stotram. It looks really good. May the blessings of Lords Mahākāla, Śani and Mṛtyuñjaya be with you at all times!
