Mantra japa comes before the Kavacam unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Hi Krishna garu, Is it possible for you to provide the 3 slokas in Telugu language ? I don't want to pronounce them wrong (no uccharana dosha) as I can't read either Hindi or Sanskrit. Thanks in advance, Karthik

Krishnaji, what is the correct order of recital of this Kavacam? Should be recited before OR after the Tripura Bhairavi mantra japa ? Thanks

The same applies to the Śrī Bālā mantra also. As I have mentioned previously, the mantra provided by the guru is final and the initiate must follow the same.

There is no need for initiation for Lalita Sahasranama

Dear Sir, many comments here suggest that Lalita Sahasranaam can be recited without initiation. However, the Phala Shruti of Lalita Saharanaam categorically says that it should not be given to the ones who don't know Sri Vidya: पशुतुल्येषु न ब्रूयाज जनेषु स्तोत्र मुत्तमम, यो ददाति विमूढात्मा श्रीविद्यायरहिताये तु तस्मै कुप्यन्ति योगिन्यः ..... Please confirm whether it can still be recited without initiation. Thank you!

Hi sir. Does the same go with the Bala Navakshari Mantra? Should one recite with prefix OM or without OM? Thank you.

I am not aware of any such procedure followed by the traditions that I have encountered so far. You may follow what is suggested by your guru. Reciting these mantras without a proper initiation may not yield any meaningful results and sometimes may even lead to harm, as suggested in the tantras.

Yes it makes it a 10 lettered mantra. You may recite "oṃ" a few times before and after the main mantra and not as the mantra itself. In all these matters, the initiating guru is the final authority and the norms suggested, must be followed as per the tradition followed by the guru and their preceptors.
