Pranam Tripuraghna Ji, what is the significance of Sri Kameshwar mantras in Sri Vidya? Also, if for organizational reasons Lalita Amba rules over everyone, does she rule over Ma Kamkala Kali as well? Thank you very much!

Wow. Thank you, Tripurghnaji. Is it suffice to say that Ma Pratyangira Devi sadhana covers the entirety of Shakti worship including all of the Das Mahavidyas? Is Her worship “all-inclusive”? I really appreciate your commentary, as it greatly helps deepen my devotion and understanding towards Maa and all Her forms.

Namaste Joseph. I will explain to you exactly what this Kavacam means. Pratyaṅgirā is not directly involved in this Kavacam. There are some attendants of Pratyaṅgirā who are present in this Kavacam (Bhrāmiṇi, Stambhini, Kṣobhiṇi, Mohini, Samhāriṇi, Jṛmbhiṇi and Raudri). The ruler of this Kavacam is the Divine Mother Tārā. Divine Mother Pratyaṅgirā places some of her attendants under the command of Divine Mother Tārā. These attendants are Kṛtyās or Goddesses of Death. The power of these assistants are beyond your comprehension. There are many assistants, but she Pratyaṅgirā "borrowed" only a few in this Kavacam. There is no other relationship between Pratyaṅgirā and Tārā. Pratyaṅgirā occupies a much higher position. She has the authority to command all deities to be silent or to destroy them if necessary.

People pronouncing it incorrectly changes the Mantra's meaning and the number of syllables, often changing the beneficial effects to destructive effects. The first thing a devotee must master is the alphabet (am̐ ām̐ im̐ īm̐ um̐ ūm̐ ṛm̐ ṝm̐ ḷm̐ ḹm̐ in̐ aim̐ om̐ aum̐ am̐ aḥ kam̐ kham̐ gam̐ gham̐ ṅam̐ cam̐ cham̐ jam̐ jham̐ ñam̐ ṭam̐ ṭham̐ ḍam̐ ḍham̐ ṇam̐ tam̐ tham̐ dam̐ dham̐ nam̐ pam̐ pham̐ bam̐ bham̐ mam̐ yam̐ ram̐ lam̐ vam̐ śam̐ ṣam̐ sam̐ ham̐ ḻam̐ kṣam). I think beyond Shrim is Sauh: the Para Devi -the transcendental aspect of Lalita, whiie Shrim the samashti of the manifested…Am I correct in saying that? Also is the actual Maha Shodashi 28 lettered or 31 lettered with repeating - ‘Om hrim shrim’ after the 3 kutas as ‘shrim hrim Om’

Namaste Krishnaji, the variation #2 of this mantra includes a svaha compared to variation #1 of the mantra, which does not include it. Does the addition of Svaha change the impact of the mantra significantly? Also the Nyasas have Krim bijas. Would this also affect the overall energetic signature of the mantra? Thanks for clarifying.

I love both of these forms of Maa, and I was wondering, are there any other connections between Ma Tara and Pratyangira Devi besides this kavacham?
