Generally, it is the middle finger that touches the nose and the index and ring fingers touch the sides. Barring the thumb, all other fingers are used to close the mouth for the Chandas. You can also use the tattva mudrā if that is what you have been following. There could be other mudrās also.

Once the rudrakshas are putatively charged and active, is it acceptable to wear them all the time, or are the rules and guidelines to keep the energy and effects? If something happens, like dropping on the ground, are there procedures for restoring the energy, or are the popular rules around rudraksha use, such as do not take into restroom, or sometimes, do not wear while eating, potentially routed more in superstition than reality?

Namaste. Regarding Ṣaḍāṅga nyāsaḥ step 2, śirase, does top of the forehead mean beginning of hairline or top of the skull/location of sahasrara?

Thank You very much for such detailed answers. I understand correctly that You are talking about the glory of this mantra: ka-e-ī-la-hrīṁ ha-sa-ka-ha-la-hrīṁ sa-ka-la-hrīṁ? Please keep sharing the knowledge of Panchadashi Mahamantra with us. If You can tell about the not very complicated worship of Shri Yantra pressed on silver plate and not in Mahameru form. Thanks for the very much.
