Śrī Ṛṇamocana Nṛsiṃha Stotram!!!

(श्री ऋणमोचन नृसिंह स्तोत्रम्)

 

Prologue – One of the most popular debt relieving stotras practiced by all devotees of Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, an aspect of Lord Śrī Viṣṇu, is the Śrī Ṛṇamocana Nṛsiṃha Stotram. It requires no initiation and can be practiced by everyone with great devotion and sincerity. May we surrender ourselves to the Lord and seek His immense grace and protection at all times, just the way His great devotee and Prince Prahlāda remained undeterred and unshakeable in his faith and belief, to earn the grace of Lord Śrī Viṣṇu in the form of Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha.

Dhyānam (ध्यानम्) -

vāgīśā yasya vadane lakṣmīryasya ca vakṣasi ।

yasyāste hṛdaye saṃvittaṃ nṛsiṃhamahaṃ bhaje ॥

वागीशा यस्य वदने लक्ष्मीर्यस्य च वक्षसि ।

यस्यास्ते हृदये संवित्तं नृसिंहमहं भजे ॥

O Lord, The Divine Mother Sarasvatī (Vāgīśā) is always on your mouth and the Divine Mother Lakṣmī is perched on your left breast/heart from where the pure consciousness arises. We pray to you fervently and with sincere devotion and reverence call upon you to shower your grace upon us.

Every word of His is pure knowledge and bliss. Wealth of all types emerges from His grace and He has the heart to donate liberally to all His sincere devotees. He Himself is the pure super-consciousness and is Parabrahman, the Absolute!

atha stotram (अथ स्तोत्रम्) -

devatākārya siddhyarthaṃ sabhāstambha samudbhavam ।

śrīnṛsiṃhaṃ mahāvīraṃ namāmi ṛṇamuktaye ॥ 1 ॥

देवताकार्य सिद्ध्यर्थं सभास्तम्भसमुद्भवम् ।

श्रीनृसिंहं महावीरं नमामि ऋणमुक्तये ॥ १ ॥

To help the celestial devas to execute their tasks and to rid them of the malice caused by Hiraṇyakaśipu and his horde of demonic asuras, you emerged from a pillar in the king’s court. O Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, you are a very brave, fierce and immensely powerful warrior and the Divinity personified. You are Lord Śrī Viṣṇu. I pray reverently to you to please free me from all types of financial and karmic debt at once.

lakṣmyāliṅgita vāmāṅkaṃ bhaktānāṃ varadāyakam ।

śrīnṛsiṃhaṃ mahāvīraṃ namāmi ṛṇamuktaye ॥ 2 ॥

लक्ष्म्यालिङ्गित वामाङ्कं भक्तानां वरदायकम् ।

श्रीनृसिंहं महावीरं नमामि ऋणमुक्तये ॥ २ ॥

The Divine Mother Lakṣmī resides on the left breast and bestows all wishes upon the sincere devotees. O Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, you are a very brave, fierce and immensely powerful warrior and the Divinity personified. You are Lord Śrī Viṣṇu. I pray reverently to you to please free me from all types of financial and karmic debt at once.

āntramālādharaṃ śaṅkhacakrābjāyudha dhāriṇam ।

śrīnṛsiṃhaṃ mahāvīraṃ namāmi ṛṇamuktaye ॥ 3 ॥

आन्त्रमालाधरं शङ्खचक्राब्जायुध धारिणम् ।

श्रीनृसिंहं महावीरं नमामि ऋणमुक्तये ॥ ३ ॥

You wear upon yourself the intestines of the slain demonic Hiraṇyakaśipu and bear in your arms a conch (śaṅkha), a disc (cakra), a blooming lotus (abja) and a mace (gadha). O Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, you are a very brave, fierce and immensely powerful warrior and the Divinity personified. You are Lord Śrī Viṣṇu. I pray reverently to you to please free me from all types of financial and karmic debt at once.

 

The dazzling disc and the deafening sound of the conch will capture the complete attention of the devotee and fix their attention towards the Lord who bears these weapons. The lotus denotes the evolution of the consciousness and the mace is for pounding the karmic barriers into submission and dismantling all malefic influences.

smaraṇāt sarvapāpaghnaṃ kadrūjaviṣanāśanam ।

śrīnṛsiṃhaṃ mahāvīraṃ namāmi ṛṇamuktaye ॥ 4 ॥

स्मरणात् सर्वपापघ्नं कद्रूजविषनाशनम् ।

श्रीनृसिंहं महावीरं नमामि ऋणमुक्तये ॥ ४ ॥

Mere contemplation on your form is enough to wipe away all our sins and remove all poisonous bites and afflictions. O Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, you are a very brave, fierce and immensely powerful warrior and the Divinity personified. You are Lord Śrī Viṣṇu. I pray reverently to you to please free me from all types of financial and karmic debt at once.No matter how deep our karmic afflictions are, He can wipe them away when we pray to Him with utmost sincerity.

siṃhanādena mahatā digvidig-bhaya-nāśanam । [digdanti]

śrīnṛsiṃhaṃ mahāvīraṃ namāmi ṛṇamuktaye ॥ 5 ॥

सिंहनादेन महता दिग्विदिग्भयनाशनम् । [दिग्दन्ति]

श्रीनृसिंहं महावीरं नमामि ऋणमुक्तये ॥ ५ ॥

Your fierce majestic lion appearance is enough to scare away rampaging elephants. O Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, you are a very brave, fierce and immensely powerful warrior and the Divinity personified. You are Lord Śrī Viṣṇu. I pray reverently to you to please free me from all types of financial and karmic debt at once.

Let not the burden of our karmas weigh down upon us and crush us under their power. He is there to protect us and ease our burden.

prahlāda varada śrīśaṃ daityeśvara vidāraṇam ।

śrīnṛsiṃhaṃ mahāvīraṃ namāmi ṛṇamuktaye ॥ 6 ॥

प्रह्लादवरद श्रीशं दैत्येश्वरविदारणम् ।

श्रीनृसिंहं महावीरं नमामि ऋणमुक्तये ॥ ६ ॥

O Lord, you were able to grant every single wish of Prince Prahlāda and protected him incessantly. Your fierceness and bravery led to the slaying of the indomitable King of the Daityas Hiraṇyakaśipu. O Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, you are a very brave, fierce and immensely powerful warrior and the Divinity personified. You are Lord Śrī Viṣṇu. I pray reverently to you to please free me from all types of financial and karmic debt at once.

krūragrahaiḥ pīḍitānāṃ bhaktānām abhayapradam ।

śrīnṛsiṃhaṃ mahāvīraṃ namaāmi ṛṇamuktaye ॥ 7 ॥

क्रूरग्रहैः पीडितानां भक्तानामभयप्रदम् ।

श्रीनृसिंहं महावीरं नमआमि ऋणमुक्तये ॥ ७ ॥

Let no devotee of yours fear the transit or placement of the heavenly grahas and their torment due to unfavorable placement in the birth charts. You are always there to protect each one of us, who have surrendered to you. O Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, you are a very brave, fierce and immensely powerful warrior and the Divinity personified. You are Lord Śrī Viṣṇu. I pray reverently to you to please free me from all types of financial and karmic debt at once.

vedavedānta yajñeśaṃ brahma rudrādi vanditam ।

śrīnṛsiṃhaṃ mahāvīraṃ namāmi ṛṇamuktaye ॥ 8 ॥

वेदवेदान्तयज्ञेशं ब्रह्मरुद्रादिवन्दितम् ।

श्रीनृसिंहं महावीरं नमामि ऋणमुक्तये ॥ ८ ॥

You are extolled in the Vedas, the Vedantic scriptures such as the Upaṇiṣads, fire rituals – yajñas and homas. You are praised by the Creator Brahmā and the Destroyer Rudra and all other gods and goddesses for your valor, bravery and the power to Sustain the entire Creation. O Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha, you are a very brave, fierce and immensely powerful warrior and the Divinity personified. You are Lord Śrī Viṣṇu. I pray reverently to you to please free me from all types of financial and karmic debt at once.

itthaṃ yaḥ paṭhate nityaṃ ṛṇamocana siddhaye । [sañjñitam]

anṛṇo jāyate śīghraṃ dhanaṃ vipulamāpnuyāt ॥ 9 ॥

इत्थं यः पठते नित्यं ऋणमोचन सिद्धये । [सञ्ज्ञितम्]

अनृणो जायते शीघ्रं धनं विपुलमाप्नुयात् ॥ ९ ॥

Those sincere devotees who recite this stotram on a regular basis will certainly be freed of all financial and karmic debts. They will remain debt free for the rest of their lives and amass massive wealth, health, fame, prosperity and all-round happiness by the grace of Lord Śrī Nṛsiṃha.

sarvasiddhipradaṃ nṛṇāṃ sarvaiśvarya-pradāyakam ।

tasmāt sarva-prayatnena paṭhet stotramidaṃ sadā ॥ 10 ॥

सर्वसिद्धिप्रदं नृणां सर्वैश्वर्यप्रदायकम् ।

तस्मात् सर्वप्रयत्नेन पठेत् स्तोत्रमिदं सदा ॥ १० ॥

The sincere devotees will undoubtedly be able to accomplish all their tasks successfully and gain all types of material and spiritual wealth during their lifetimes. The devotees must remember to recite this stotram lifelong with sincerity and devotion to gain all the benefits and lead memorable lives.

iti śrīnṛsiṃhapurāṇe ṛṇamocana śrīnṛsiṃha stotram ॥

इति श्रीनृसिंहपुराणे ऋणमोचन श्रीनृसिंह स्तोत्रम् ॥
