Take an initiation from your Guru Maa to practice the desired deity mantra(s) and proceed. That is the suggested procedure. You may also seek permission or recommendation from your current guru to proceed further with mantra recitations etc. If your guru is inaccessible, then you can find another guru and proceed further. Lastly, you can avoid all tantric mantras and proceed with simple mantras that do not require initiations and do not have Viniyogas, nyāsas etc.

It is interpreted variously. If you are flexible, you can slide along the entire right side or simply slide along the ribs. I would do the whole right side of my body. Do not stretch yourself too much and inflict injury, just do what you are able to. Also remember that this mantra and all mantras on this site require initiation from a well-versed practicing guru. If you do not have one, then do not proceed further as strongly suggested in all tantras.

Look for simple kavacas and stotras and go for them. Mantra kavacas such as this, are for initiates only.

Hi thanks for posting this wonderful mantra. On Vinyasa 15, it is mentioned slide on the right side only- is it slide on the right hand from shoulder to fingers or slide on the right side of the body completely? Please clarify thanks.

If I am not Dikshit to this kavach then can I do it regularly as said 3 times? Will there be any harmful effects if I do so?

Both svaḥ and suvaḥ are used in many variations. Please follow that which is initiated to you by your guru.

There are various classes and divisions among Chandas and the designated chandas can have a different combination of letters. Chandas is a major subject of study and is considered as a vedāṅga.

Lalitā Sahasranāmam is a stotra mantra that is recited in one sitting with the appropriate Viniyoga, nyāsas, dhyāna etc. It is meant for initiates of the Pañcadaśī mantra and its variants. It is quite common to see non-initiates reciting it also. My suggestion is to learn the meanings of the individual nāmas, get initiated into Śrī Vidyā through a proper practicing guru and then recite the stotram. It is not easy finding a guru, so you would need to make some efforts and find out who is most suitable to help you out. If you are unable to find a guru, then stick to the nāmāvalī and the meanings. The Divine Mother will show you the way.

It is meant for senior upāsakas and initiates of the Divine Mother Kālī. You can do regular pūja rituals till you find a guru who can initiate you into Kālī krama and take you further in your spiritual journey.
