None of the Pramanika Sampradayas affix Om before Mahashodashi mantra. The Devi Pranava itself is Om, and beyond. By adding an extra Om, there is lopa of Chandas, there is lopa of matra, and also lopa of the rashmi samkhya.This is what happens if one reads from books and does not learn from an enlightened Guru belonging to shakta lineage - blind leading the blind.

Explanations regarding initiations, yoga, meditation, practices are true. But the characters, circumstances, etc are only for the purpose of the story.
