Just to add a point if you are initiated to Maha Shodashi already you would not need formal initiation to other mantras, you can self initiate yourself for other mantras. But the point is if you are already initiated to Shodashi why do you need other mantras? Problems keep coming and going praying to Shodashi (Prakriti) will solve your problems.

There are many traditions that include both Śrī Vidya and Kālī worship. The Raṣmi mālā mantras are also very important for protection purposes. We will post them here in due course. One can follow the nyāsās of the associated deity mūla mantra, when they don't exist for the stotram and kavacam that one wishes to recite. In many cases they simply don't exist or unavailable and maybe intended for the non-initiates as well. It is best to check the uvacas or phalaśruti to see if an initiation is needed. As mentioned previously, in most cases an initiation is required for the daśa mahāvidyā-s related stotras or kavacas, especially if there is a nyāsa.

Thank You Krishna, But this is beyond Mahasodashi as both TripurA and Kali are same and given exact importance in Tantras as all other Mahavidyas emanated from these two only. Lord Sri Rama was initiated into Sri Vidya/Mahasodashi and Guhya Kali both, so was his brother Sri Bharat, an ardent devotee of Sri Kali. Many text and amanyas existed where dual worship of both TripurA and Kali were practiced, like an amnaya posted by Manasolasa, a very rare text of dual worship of Sharika and TripurA which was practiced in Kashmir. Most of these texts are lost now or kept really secret among some Kali kulas and Sri Vidya groups. Sri KALI forms a big part in Sri Vidya, in the Rashmi mala mantras which is a perquisite and a must for all Sri Vidya Upaasak to recite in the morning first thing after waking up, there is a powerful Kali vidya given called, Kalasamkarshini vidya, which is meditated in ajna chakra and bestows great ability to live long. Some Gurus still insist of reciting RasmiMala even after Mahasodashi and some tradition omit it, without realizing its importance for protecting oneself from many dangers and issues. Panchadasi and Mahasodashi are considered supreme so why does some Gurus still insist in reciting Rasmimala mantras? The reason is that its nourish and protect us from all kinds of calamities. Sometimes we are drawn to other Mahavidyas to solve some issues even after getting Mahasodashi like Kamala for wealth or Sri Bagalamukhi when having issues. Mr.Ramamoorthy who is a well known Sri Vidya Guru is also an ardent devotee of both tripurA and Kali. Many great upaasaka and Gurus worship both these 2 Mahavidyas. Even though God is the same, experiences of each vidya are different as Kali represent Time. Even Sri Pratyangira Devi is also called Atharvana Bhadrakaali which is none other than sri Kali and practiced in Sri Vidya. Now regarding Kavacham, strotrams, it is said that the basic to recite Sri Lalitha Sahasranama is initiation into Panchadasi, but most people recite the Maha Sotram now. What they don’t know is that it’s a mantra shastra in itself and a nuclear bomb, even though Sri Mata said she is most pleased when one recite moola mantra, sri chakra worship and the sri LS, what is not said or warned by gurus is that you should pronounce each namas correctly without a single mistake or you attract yogni curse which is 100 % true and yogini curse is disturbance in your energy which results in issues, health problems, job and mental issues. Sri Mata does love us but we must be disciplined and be completely focused, reciting each name knowing the meaning, then the great Mother is pleased. For the Stotram, I cannot ask my Guru as he passed away. There are only 2 version of this stotram found online, 1 with some mistakes in it. It is said it is very powerful, effective but very volatile also and side effects can accrue. You posted rare Kavacham of even sri Pratyangira without any nysasa, so is there a universal nyasa for strotram, kavacham? How can one protect oneself before reciting these Kavacham? Thank you for you immense help Krishna, Manblunder is an ocean of knowledge.

One who has performed great merit in his/her previous lives may have the chance of getting initiated into Mahāṣoḍaśi mantra. One need not look any further for spiritual emancipation beyond this mantra, if they're fortunate enough to get initiated into it. For material benefits however, there are many other mantras that are out there, which can be recited for relief. A person who has pūrṇābhiṣeka dīkṣa, which is usually associated with a successful completion of the Mahāṣoḍaśi mantra or at any time by the grace of one's guru, gets the authority to initiate others as well as if needed for himself, to any mantras. In general, this is for the śrī vidya mantras. It is important to remember that they're all manifestations of the Supreme Divine Mother Śakti Herself and She is Mahāṣoḍaśi. If in doubt, Please check with your guru and recite the mantras with his/her permission. When it comes to reciting stotras and kavacas, especially of tantric nature or involving the Daśamahāvidyā-s, it is better to recite with the appropriate nyāsas, since they're meant for activating the mantra as well as protecting our phsycial, astral and causal bodies. It is highly recommended to recite the hymns along with the mantra japa, although they can be done independently as well. Based on time constraints, you can choose appropriately. One who surrenders to the Divine Mother fully, will receive the appropriate guidance from Her.

Krishna Sir and Ravi Sir, If someone is initiated into Mahasodashi Sri Kula, can they recite also Kali Kula Mantras, strotams like you ppost Durga mantras which falls into Kali Kula?. I know that one should concentrate on the most powerful mantra which is Sodashi but many Rishis in the past did Purascharana of both Sri Kula and Kali Kula which is both considered supreme. Regarding stotrams, some verses say to be careful when reciting them, is it not safe to recite when it includes powerful beeja mantras? How can one protect oneself before reciting stotram and none suggest nyasas or protection formulas. I'm asking as I've having a specific issue and there is a really powerful sotram of Kali which even Lord Vishnu recited to seek protection from the divine Mother Kali Herself. I know mantras are more effective but first one need to get siddhis after thousands of recitation compared to strotam, kavach which are siddhs and give sometimes instant result. Hope you are getting my point of not going after several mantras.

Brahman is formless. But these sotras adore the concerned deity as Brahman. Simple comparison cannot be made between Vishnu Sahasranama and Lalita Sahasranama, former will adore Vishnu as Brahman and the latter will adore Lalitamigai as Brahman. This is the poetic freedom given to the composers.

Hi sir... here you have stated that the abode of Vishnu is the highest but in your post about Sri Chakra, it seems Sri Nagara is the highest loka. In your post about Lalita Sahasranamam, you didn’t want to place Devi as supreme and keep on placing her as inferior to Siva but here you have stated Visnu as the supreme lord, Narayana. So, who is actually the supreme Brahman according to you?

This mantra requires an initiation. I would strongly suggest reciting the Śrī Mahālakṣmī/Kamalātmikā Kavacam as well as the śrī pratyaṅgirā sarvārtha sādhaka kavacaṃ prior to as well on a regular basis, for all those who wish to recite this mantra. The śrī siddha lakṣmī stotram is also considered extremely beneficial for early fructification of the mantra.

Hi Sir, thank you very much for posting this Siddha Lakshmi mantra. As she is referred to Mūla Pratyaṅgirā, do we need to recite "Sri Prathyangira Devi Sarvartha Kavacham" before starting the japa procedure? Or is it fine to recite this mantra alone without any other mantras to obtain the grace of Siddha Lakshmi? I am asking this because there is (A warning to recite the Pratyangira Devi Sarvartha Kavacaṃ, PRIOR to the mantra sadhana of śrī pratyaṅgirā devi.)
