Hi Sir, thank you very much for posting this Siddha Lakshmi mantra. As she is referred to Mūla Pratyaṅgirā, do we need to recite "Sri Prathyangira Devi Sarvartha Kavacham" before starting the japa procedure? Or is it fine to recite this mantra alone without any other mantras to obtain the grace of Siddha Lakshmi? I am asking this because there is (A warning to recite the Pratyangira Devi Sarvartha Kavacaṃ, PRIOR to the mantra sadhana of śrī pratyaṅgirā devi.)

This mantra requires an initiation. I would strongly suggest reciting the Śrī Mahālakṣmī/Kamalātmikā Kavacam as well as the śrī pratyaṅgirā sarvārtha sādhaka kavacaṃ prior to as well on a regular basis, for all those who wish to recite this mantra. The śrī siddha lakṣmī stotram is also considered extremely beneficial for early fructification of the mantra.

Rudrākṣa mālā can be used for any mantra and for any purpose. Usually, each deity and sometimes the specific mantras have a preference to certain beads and mālā-s of those beads are suitable for the specific deity mantras. Mālā-s specific to lotus beads and turmeric can be used for protection, basil/tulasi for peaceful/monetary purposes, sandalwood mālā-s are used for attraction, wealth etc. A mālā used for one mantra, can also be used for another mantra, if it's suitable and the purpose is also identical.

You may recite any one or all three based on your interest, need and time availability. We do not have an youtube link for this stotram. However, there is a youtube link in the śrī pratyaṅgirā sarvārtha sādhaka kavacaṃ article. You may listen to the audio of the kavacam through the link.

The mantra that would be used for all procedures constituting the Puraścaraṇa, is the same mantra used for mantra japa. The only difference, is that when performing the homam, a 'svāhā' is added to the end of the mantra. This is the case for mantras ending with 'svāhā' also. The pronunciation is sometimes 'svāhā-ha', for the last 'svāhā'. For tarpaṇa, a 'tarpayāmi' is added at the end of the mantra. The homam process itself is documented in another article on this website, which can be followed for any homam, with slight variations for dhyāna (meditation) etc. Please note that anyone who is not looking for any specific benefits or wish fulfillment, need not go for Puraścaraṇa. It is however recommended, to bring closure to the mantra japa and proceed to other deity mantras, if desired. Practically, it is best to stick to one mantra and continue the chant lifelong or as long as possible, with breath alignment. Doing so, one may at some point of time, experience success when the karmas begin to subside.

Thank you for sharing the article. This mantra is more popular as the siddhalakṣmi mantra, who is also seen as the consort of Mahāgaṇapati. The article you referred, is associated with Siddhilakṣmi and Her 9 lettered mantra referenced in this article on our site, is also acknowledged as the pūrṇacaṇḍī mantra - https://www.manblunder.com/articlesview/sri-navaksari-siddhi-lakshmi-mantra. Siddhilakṣmi is also a form of Guhyakāli.

Dear sister, I would like to point out certain fallacies from the article you quoted as a Srividya upasaka. In their website, they twice claimed wrong mentions about Srividya and Lalitha. In the siddhi Lakshmi page, they claimed that Lalitha is not ultimate as she can only bless in the triguna realm.. Isn't that funny??. They also claimed that siddhilakshmi is beyond Srividya but as far as everyone knows evidently, Srividya is the ultimate Brahmavidya and Paravidya at the supreme state. On the Kumari worship page, without evidences or any sort of references, they claimed that Lalitha is possessed of Rajasa... That's even funny because both of these claims become useless as the most revered Lalitha Sahasranama calls Devi as both Nirguna, Gunatheetha and also Trigunatmika. There are very very few references to their siddhi Lakshmi compared to Parabrahma Svarupini Lalitha, who has mentions in many holy scriptures from Vedopanishads, puranas and prominently Tantras. Besides, the website also compares Mahalakshmi who lives in the lotus heart of Sriman Narayana with their so-called different (which I believe all to be manifestations of the same mother) Siddhilakshmi to be inferior to the latter. But ultimately, in the most revered school of Srivaisnava, Mahalakshmi is the absolute Adhi Parasakthi, Iswari of Narayana. She transcends all gunas and shines as the ultimate. Same goes to Lalita who is both with and without attributes. They should have either shown proper references (which absolutely don't exist) for their false claims or just delete their unsourced content. Making fun of one Vidya to claim supremacy of another school is very immoral! Thus, I request you not to support such websites and instead refer to websites like Manblunder for wonderful articles. Hope Krishna swamiji could share some light on such mockery made on other shools of worships. Sri Mathre Namah

There is really no need to be so emotionally reactive. It is mentioned as per their siddha kaula traditions. Sri Vidya is not the be all and end all in everything. There are many tantrik traditions especially from Nepal where Siddhilakshmi is absolute. Just like Sri Vidya claims the 10 avatars of Narayana came from Lalitha Devis 10 fingernails which no Vaisnava will accept. Every school will consider their Deva to be absolute , Ganapatyas , Vaisnavas , Shaktas , Saivas etc.

There is nothing to be so emotionally reactive here. Just because they mentioned it is as per siddha kaula traditions, does that mean any of the scriptures talk about it? Well, I dare anyone to show me which authentic scripture says Srividya is below Siddhilakshmi as they claim! If you say there are many tantrik traditions from nepal which claim siddhilakshmi to be supreme, then why not you name those traditions??? There could be one or two, which may exist here and there but do you think it is right for them to place other schools inferior to promote theirs? Comparing the traditions available for both Devis (I know both are one and the same), it it well known that Lalita prevails in many aspects. Even to me, I consider siddhilakshmi as Purna Chandika who is absolute as per Devi Mahatmyam. It is not about the bedham here. It is about their false claims and as a devotee of Srividya Parameswari, I have all rights to comment. Lol ...Just as you support that website which without evidence claims 'as per siddha kaula dharma', in the beginning of my comment itself I have stated that I am commenting as a Srividya upasaka. So, in Srividya, everything begins from and finally ends in Lalitha. Srividya is all and end of all things. All margas merge into Srividya Saagaram, as per Srividya upasana. So, if you are of another belief, you don't have to either believe or comment, and falsely claim something without showing scriptural evidence. Every school is free to consider their Deva to be absolute, but comparing and mocking other schools in a public platform is simply filthy and Barbaric!! Haha... Are you sure no Vaisnava would accept that? I have seen many Vaisnavas whom are Srividya upasakas too and I am sure they accept it. As per Vaisnava tradition, there are many repeatation of dasavataras and once their job is done, they return to their specific abodes within Vaikunta dharma, where the one and only Parama Narayana resides. As per Vaisnavas, Devi is the internal potency of Narayana, known as Yogamaya and Mahamaya. The same Lalita Sahasranama which calls Amba as 'Karanguli Nagotpanna Narayana Dasakrtih' also calls Her as 'Narayani', 'Vaisnavi', 'Visnumaya', 'Padmanabha Sahodhari', which all refer to her Yogamaya aspect. Therefore, it is valid as per both Srividya and Vaisnava. Additionally, to support this, I can show many scriptures from puranas to tantras and also commentaries by well known acharyas. Could you show any reference which falsely support their siddha dharma claims about Srividya???

Dear Lorran, I do understand that both are one and the same. I see Siddhilakshmi as a form of Lalithambika herself. We all who see oneness will never mock other schools to promote ours, as how the website article is written. That article is very wrong about Srividya or Mahalakshmi of Srivaisnava. If they wish to promote Siddhilakshmi upasana, they should talk its greatness, not criticise other schools. If that is right, then what Zakir Naik did to promote Islam by mocking other religious groups also can be considered right!

In my opinion, this mantra is for the Divine Mother Siddhalakṣmī, the consort of Mahāgaṇapati.

I have a major doubt with regard to this mantra. There seems to be similarity between this mantra and the chandi navakshari mantra as both invoke the shaktis of mahakali, mahalakshmi and mahasarswati. Both have been titled mahamantras, while chandi mantras have the"siddha kunjika stotra" to actiivate and explain the beeja aksharas of aim, hreem and kleem. The same logic is shown in siddha lakshmi stotra where the importance of shreem, hreem and kleem is explained. Does it put on par with the chandi mantra with respect to power and efficacy. and one more doubt is in what way is siddha lakshmi beneficial for a sadhaka , if he's already initiated into pratyangira mantra and kamala mantra. what is that special thing that siddhi lakshmi can bestow upon her devotee that lakhsmi cannot. I am disturbed and cannot believe the siddhapedia's (kaulantak peeth) explaination of siddha lakshmi, as they have done the unaccepatable act of comparing siddha lakshmi with lakshmi and lalita. Please write a good brief note of siddha lakshmi mahatmaya.would be a light for those who want to undertake this sadhana. and one more thing the viniyoga says sarva klesha (the distrubances of one's mind by the arishadvargas-kama,krodha,lobha,moha,mada and matsarya), peedha pariharatha (pain alleviating) sarva dukha (removal of all sadness )daridrya( poverty of lacking money and affliction from diseases.)... I have never come across such a viniyoga in any other mantra viniyoga of other deities. But even if not mentioned in the viniyoga about the benefits the mantra is offering, don't u think all deities do this by default even if not mentioned in the viniyoga? Is this viniyoga of siddha lakshmi mantra and stotra both make it powerful and unique?please guide regards

Siddhilakṣmī is a form of Guhyakāli and also referred to Mūlapratyaṅgirā and in some contexts as Parāṣoḍaśī. Siddhalakṣmī, to whom this mantra is associated with, is the consort of Mahāgaṇapati and is seen as the accomplisher of all tasks, with Her consort as the remover of all obstacles and hindrances in our path.
There is no need to follow many mantras, but it maybe more useful and productive, to follow any one mantra or a related spiritual discipline to the fullest and achieve success with perseverance and complete dedication.

You may use lotus seeds in the homa if you wish to. The regular homa Dravya can be used. I am not aware of any other special Dravya to be added to make this homa more successful.

For some reason I could not find this mantra in Sharada Tilakam. It is found only in Mantra Maharnava. In Shri Devi Rahashyam (Rudra Yamalokta ) it is written differently, there are more bija syllables. In the Upanishad Sangrah, i.e. in Shruti, it is written with स्वाहा instead of नमः. What do you say to this?

You can find the Yantra in coded formula in Purnananda lahari, Below should be the yantra form for Siddhalakshmi, Bindu, Trikona (Triangle), shatkona (6 pointed star), Astadhala (8 petals) and then bhupura (this is same as Maha Ganapati yantra)

I believe there is but I am not absolutely certain. You may find it in the Kamalātmika Sādhana book of Shri Rajesh Dixit. Please note that there is a difference between this Siddhilakṣmī and the Guhyākālī Siddhilakṣmī, the latter is described in the latest book of Shri Animesh Nagar ji and in some magazines of Sādhana Siddhi Vigyān.

Tarpaṇa and Marjana are different, although both are water rituals. I suggest that you consult Mantra Mahodadhi to understand these rituals further. You may consider any other Kamala yantras for performing the Āvaraṇa pūja. You may also consider looking up other Tantra manuals to see if the yantra pūja for Śrī Siddhalakṣmī is present. Shri Animesh Nagar ji has published the vidhi for the Kālīkula Śrī Siddhilakṣmī. However, both the deities are not the same. Śrī Siddhalakṣmī is the consort of Śrī Mahāgaṇapati and present with Him in His yantra, so you may also consider performing the Āvaraṇa pūja accordingly.

Dear guruji, May I know what changes this mantra brings to us. Such as I am doing government job, a clerk job, salary is low and and promotion in my job is unlikely as department do not have enough setup for promotion of mine. As per astrology, I do not have yoga for promotion or business etc. I wanted to know, how (or in what way) siddha Lakshmi can bring changes for wealth. Thanks

Unless there is a fruition of the mantra, no changes are noticed. Once you experience the grace of the mantra, everything will be clear to you and you will know your path. To answer your question directly, I would say that newer opportunities may present themselves and you could change jobs for better remuneration. But please note that mantra fruition is extremely difficult and may take many years to show any meaningful results, that is, if you are able to overcome your karmic barriers. There are absolutely no guarantees or recipes for success, although the general guidelines may be followed to the best of one's capacity.
