never do havan with that kavach in which we pray to god to save our body parts. it is a great sin. Do havan for mantras only in which specificlly body parts are not mentioned.

Hello readers, Recite this kavach only if u r in great danger. no matter u chant with hreem ,hleem or hlreem. This kavach will solve any problem. Never try to do harm for ur selfishness. For eg. if u r tenant and try to harm ur landlord in any case it is definately a sin because u r using his property and try to harm him. Must remember there is lord saturn who gives strong punishment for a sin. Just chant this kavach in ur prayer. Never try to harm others just pray to goddess to give u safety and happiness thats enough. God bless u all. I never got any guidance from anyone but because what mistakes i did ,i want nobody will repeat that thats y i wriiten my experience here. Love u all.

Please lookup the Sanskrit pronunciation of the letters "ṛ" and "ṇ". Each letter in Sanskrit is pronounced differently and the words formed by the letters, should also be pronounced as written. There are some very rare exceptions, which are learnt as part of the Sanskrit grammar. So the word "ṛṇa" is pronounced as "RRiNa" Most books written in English related to mantras with the IAST standard, will have a pronunciation guide, I would recommend looking it up, for easier diction. As always, it is best to get initiation when in doubt and seek the grace of a guru.

It is very difficult, but your best guide would be references from people you know and trust. As mentioned before, you may try the self-initiation method mentioned on this website and also documented in various books. Lord Dakṣiṇāmūrti is a form of Lord Śiva and also a prominent ṛṣi in Śrī Vidyā. You can follow the self-initiation method that describes seeking His grace for mantra sādhana.

When the disciple is ready, the guru shows forth! So goes the saying. Before we look out for a guru, we also need to assess ourselves and self-check, to see if we are competent enough for initiation from a competent guru? It is similar to power transmission over copper wires. The gauge of the wire and it's quality is very important to handle high voltage and likewise, when we approach a guru for higher spiritual progress, we also need maturity, general understanding of spirituality and some desire to know the true purpose of living etc. Most of us approach gurus for material benefits, rituals, procedures etc to overcome our crises with the expectation of the onset of "good times", so we can progress materially and life a comfortable life. During all of this, we have the least desires to go spiritual and dig deeper on understanding why we are here and what's next etc. Going further, let us assume we are competent spiritual seekers and serious about sādhana. At this time, we may need to seek out a competent guru, who is compassionate, experienced and knowledgeable about sādhana. You may get more information about the qualities of a guru in this series of articles - https://www.manblunder.com/articlesview/guru-and-mantra-initiation and https://www.manblunder.com/articles/guru-disciple-relationship. If all options for finding a competent guru are exhausted and the desire tor sadhana is great, then one can self-initiate following the procedures mentioned in this article - https://www.manblunder.com/articlesview/self-initiation-of-mantras.

This is allowed, if you follow what is called the Kaula mārga. One should attribute and consecrate the food as per the prescribed rituals and then consume it. Meat, alcohol etc. are permitted in limited quantities, after making special offerings to the deity and then consumed. You may seek more details from a Kaula guru and get initiated into the path. This kavacam is suggested for those who are already reciting Her mantras.

You may approach any Śrī Vidyā guru and request to get initiated into it. Please do this only if you are very serious about self-realization and are ready for a spiritual journey. It is definitely NOT for material gain. Most people do experience difficulties with it, as the rate of karmic burning goes up several notches. Ideally, this is for mature individuals who are very serious seekers of Truth and are willing to face any type of difficulties to discover It.
