Ok, one last question. is it ok to chant more than one sloka at a time, or does one need to stick with one for a certain period of time? Do the energies of one sloka interfere with the energy of another, and the energy of the slokas take LONGER to have effect? Thank you

Chanting done in the mind, like thoughts. For śloka-s, the preferred method is outward recitation. But if treated as mantras, then mental recitation is preferred.

It is natural for this to occur. It is best to not do meditation immediately after a meal and one should wait for at least an hour or so before proceeding. Over time, you will be able to meditate for longer periods without the need for food or water.

Laghu ṣoḍhā nyāsa has been described in this article - https://www.manblunder.com/articlesview/sri-lalita-tripura-sundari-laghu-shodha-nyasa. In time, the Māhāṣoḍhā nyāsa will also be published. It takes a lot of time to translate and very few are seriously interested and reading these articles.

Thank you for pointing out the omission. This has been rectified now.

What do you mean by silent mantra japa? Chanting done very silently (like whispering), or chanting done in the head? Is chanting Soundarya Lahari slokas in the head more powerful than chanting them silently with sound?

Hi sir. I have recently started doing meditation. I am currently practising for 15 minutes. I feel so thirsty during these 15 minutes itself. How do I overcome this? Or is it natural? If in future I prolong the meditation to 1 hour, will this thirst affect me? Thank you.

Namaste! Thank you for your input. The method that was taught to me and also described in some books, has been documented here. I would strongly suggest following the tradition taught by your guru. The directives of the guru, are final in the tradition of tantra and must be followed, to obtain their grace.

It is subtly conveyed in the Kulārṇava tantra, that mantra japa without nyāsā-s brings obstacles to one's mantra japa sādhana. I would suggest practicing abdominal breathing and ensuring that you switch to the left nostril or the dual nostril breathing during mantra japa, to improve the quality and make it more effective. Please look up the breathing articles on this website and elsewhere on the rationale and the utility for deploying the same. If you are falling in deep sleep during mantra japa, let it happen, there is nothing wrong. In fact a deep meditative state is highly desirable. Also, please lookup the various mediation techniques specified in the Vijñāna Bhairava tantra and see if any one of them can help you, in suppressing your mind during meditation and japa.
