SirIt is mentioned that each Mahavidya is situated in different parts of our body like Lalitha in Sahashara,Kali in Muladhara. Why is that? Is it for cleansing the nadis and preparing our body for kundalini arouasal?

Every hymn will have epilogue and it is unique to the poet who composes these hymns. The effects of recitals depends upon the depth of devotion. At least, we can avoid further karmas. People can never lose faith on good values, as if bad prevails over good, evil forces are always annihilated through incarnations. Living with high moral and ethical standards keeps our minds clean and there by reducing further accrual of karmas. Only with pure mind, Self can be realized and in order to have pure mind, we have to have faith on good values.

What is the use of chanting any hymns or any mantra when karma itself is ultimate. People lose faith on good values and why the phala sruthi describes like that?

We have to remember two things. 1. Karma is supreme and we have to necessarily experience karma. No way, karma can be destroyed by others. Even God Himself will not destroy your karma. 2. Our devotion should be complete and we should always stay connected with HER. Prathyangira should would have come if the above two are applicable.

No, such an awakening of kundalini will not be complete. It will be only prana not kundalaini. It is called prana uttarana or ascending of prana. This is only a cleansing process and not kundalini awakening. But without practicing nadi shodhana pranayama, it is not advisable to awaken kundalini. Kundalini can be awakened only through other mudras and bandhas. They can be read in this link KUNDALINI MEDITATION - THEORY AND PRACTICE

Can nadi shodhana pranayama alone practiced with prescribed instructions alone cannot awaken kundalini? I read it through lot of references. Could you please justify whether it is true or not?

Yes, you can chant without initiation. You contemplate Her as your Guru and you can start reciting. She is Guru-maṇḍala-rūpiṇī (713) and Gurumūrtiḥ (603). You can confidently start after visualizing Her as your Guru.
