Mostly these curses are by gods and sages. She is hard to attain and it is difficult to get Her Grace. These curses are by those who practiced hard and yet could not attain Her Grace. In rare cases, the potency of the mantras are kept as secret and in order to remove the curses some alternnate mantras are provided. This is how curse removal mantras came into effect.

Rohini, Mrigashīrsha, Punarvasu, Pushya, Uttara Phalgunī, Hasta, Svāti, Uttara Ashadha andUttara Bhādrapadā are the starts suitable for consecration. Similarly all odd tithi-s are good except navami. In even tithi-s second and tenth tithi-s are good. But the best time would be the time decided by your mind.

Thank you Guruji and is there an auspicious day to energize a yantra? or when the mind thinks of the lord, the time becomes auspicious.

Wash the yantra with water and wipe it dry. Take the yantra in your right palm and recite the following yantra gāyatrī mantra.ॐ ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं ॐ यन्त्रराजाय विद्महे महायन्त्राय धीमहि। तन्नो यन्त्रः प्रचोदयात्॥om aiṁ hrīṁ śrīṁ om yantrarājāya vidmahe mahāyantrāya dhīmahi | tanno yantraḥ pracodayāt ||After this, do abhisheka with milk, honey and turmeric powder. Again wash the yantra with water and wipe dry. By holding the yantra again, recite the mantra of the concerned yantra/deity for 108 times. This is the simplest way of consecrating a yantra.

Most of the Devi mantras are cursed. For some mantras, curse removal mantras are made available to us and for others not available because they have been kept secret. In the case of Bala mantra, the curse removal mantra needs to be recited for one day by counting 100 times. This is what is prescribed for Bala mantra. If you recite more that what is prescribed, the you will be reciting Tripura Bhairavi mantra instead of Bala mantra. There are several mantras for Tripura Bhairavi. You can safely use the following mantra हसैं हसकरीं हसैं॥ hasaiṁ hasakarīṁ hasaiṁ ||
