It is very easy to convince our logical mind with this message. however , we must have GURU to understand real meaning and to get proper results. It is easy to say "AHAM BRAHMA ASMI". The Question is, how one can utter this word , if he dissolved himself into parabrahmin. So, more clarity we get , the more questions we get again from our mind. Guruji is wise to say that nothing such exits like mantra or japa.We should not take this message as granted and should not deviate from the core practices and dishonoring the sacred words that we use to get mukthi. we need to understand that we are going away from human boundaries and dealing with unknow subtle world.

Very nicely explianed, I had articulated similar meaning but not in this depth. Can you shed more light on Bhagiradha Sadhana? With respect to puranic story I hear he did a lot of penance to get blessings of shiva in taking the flow of ganaga on the directions he walked. how does that related to spiritual significance here and what sadhana he did?

It can be chanted only mentally. If we recite aloud, we will have no control over breath.
