Thanks Raviji - happy to learn - fire sensors and carpets makes it impossible to do Havan.....was wondering if there was an alternative....thanks.

If havan is not possible, then one has to do 40% extra mantra japa. For exmaple, let us take the case of Mahashodashi. It's purascharana is 100,000 repetitions. In this case case, one has to do additional 40,000 repetitions, before proceeding to other aspects of purascharana.

Raviji, In purascharana is there an alternative to doing Havan? I remember reading years ago that in case if somebody doesn't have the opportunity to do Havan, they can do certain number of extra Mantra Japa in lieu of Havan?

No initiation necessary for this kavacam. Any trailokya kavacam to my knowledge, requires initiation to an appropriate mantra japa prior to recitation of the kavacam.

Sir can we recite kamkala kali trilokya mohan kavach or uchhist ganpati kavach without diksha ? Its safe or not ?
