Śrī Mahā Śūlinī Durgā Mālā Mantra (श्री महाशूलिनीदुर्गा मालामन्त्र) Variation 2
Purpose:- Removal of all types of misery, poverty, debts, diseases and gaining unlimited material and spiritual wealth. Highly potent mantra. This mantra should NOT be used for malevolent purposes, but can be used for protection when facing extreme danger from highly powerful enemies.

1. Viniyogaḥ (विनियोगः) :-
om̐ asya śrī śūlinīdurgā mālā mantrasya ।
brahmā ṛṣiḥ ।
gāyatrī chandaḥ ।
śrīśūlinī devatā ।
dum̐ bījaṃ ।
svāhā śaktiḥ ।
hrīm̐ kīlakaṃ ।
śrī śūlini durgākaṭākṣa siddhyarthaṃ jape viniyogaḥ ॥
ॐ अस्य श्री शूलिनीदुर्गा माला मन्त्रस्य ।
ब्रह्मा ऋषिः ।
गायत्री छन्दः ।
श्रीशूलिनी देवता ।
दुँ बीजं ।
स्वाहा शक्तिः ।
ह्रीँ कीलकं ।
श्री शूलिनि दुर्गाकटाक्ष सिद्ध्यर्थं जपे विनियोगः ॥
Meaning:- This prayer/mantra japa is to invoke Śrī Śūlinī Durgā Devi and perform Her mantra japa to obtain Her complete grace in all aspects and especially for removal of all hurdles afflicting our health, material and spiritual pursuits as well as the bad effects of planetary positions and transits. The sage (ṛṣiḥ) is Brahmā, the meter (chandas) for the mantra is gāyatrī and the deity is Śrī Śūlinī Durgā Devi. The seed/bīja to the mantra is dum̐. The power/śakti is svāhā. The key/kīlaka to the mantra is hrīm̐. May the Divine Mother Śrī Śūlinī Durgā Devi remove all types of misery, sorrow, poverty, debts, health issues affecting us and bestow immense wealth, both spiritual and material, upon us as well as fulfillment of all cherished desires, hopes and wishes.
2. ṛṣyādi nyāsa ( ऋष्यादि न्यास ) :-

dum̐ bījāya namaḥ guhye |
दुँ बीजाय नमः गुह्ये |
Touch the genitalia with the right ring finger and thumb joined together. |

svāhā śaktaye namaḥ pādayoḥ |
स्वाहा शक्तये नमः पादयोः |
Touch the feet with the right ring finger and thumb joined together. |
6 |
hrīm̐ kīlakāya namaḥ nābhau |
ह्रीँ कीलकाय नमः नाभौ |
Touch the navel area with the right ring finger and thumb joined together. |
7 |
viniyogāya namaḥ sarvāṅge |
विनियोगाय नमः सर्वाङ्गे |
Run both the palms all over the body. |
8 |

ह्रौँ कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः |
Use both the thumbs on the little fingers. |
6 |
hraḥ karatalakara pṛṣṭhābhyāṃ namaḥ |
ह्रःकरतलकर पृष्ठाभ्यां नमः |
Run the fingers of the right hand on the opened left palm on the front and back of the left hand and can be extended to the entire lower arm. Repeat the same for the right hand with the left hand fingers. |

ह्रैँ कवचाय हुँ |
Cross both the hands and run the fully opened palms from shoulders to finger tips. |

hraum̐ netratrayāya vauṣaṭ |
ह्रौँ नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट् |
Touch the eyes with the right index and ring fingers, with the middle finger touching the ājña cakra. |
6 |
hraḥ astrāya phaṭ |
ह्रः अस्त्राय फट् |
Open up the left palm and strike it three times with index and middle fingers of the right hand. |
7 |
iti ṣaḍaṅga nyāsaḥ |
इति षडङ्ग न्यासः |

bhūr-bhuva-ssuvarom-iti digbandhaḥ ॥
भूर्भुवस्सुवरोमिति दिग्बन्धः॥
5. dhyānaṃ (ध्यानं) :-
saṃvargānala-koṭi koṭi vilasat-tejomayīṃ bhīṣaṇāṃ ।
vīrābhiḥ parivāritābhir-abhito vīrair-grasad-dik-cayām ।
nānā-mūrti mahā-prayoga-nipuṇair-viḍbhiḥ prayuktāḥ punaḥ ।
tānevāśu vināśinīṃ bhaya-harīṃ dhyāyen-mahāśūlinīm ॥
संवर्गानलकोटि कोटि विलसत्तेजोमयीं भीषणां ।
वीराभिः परिवारिताभिरभितो वीरैर्ग्रसद्दिक्चयाम् ।
नानामूर्ति महाप्रयोगनिपुणैर्विड्भिः प्रयुक्ताः पुनः ।
तानेवाशु विनाशिनीं भयहरीं ध्यायेन्महाशूलिनीम् ॥
Meaning:-
We meditate upon the terrifying form of the Divine Mother Mahāśūlinī Devī, Who appears very menacing and devouring with a glow equal to zillions of lightning bolts. She is covered on six sides by warriors ready to devour. She is capable and proclaims of Her power of destroying various magical spells and effects of mantras and deities in a very skillful manner. She shrieks with a menacing shrill that invokes terror amongst the forces of our enemies (Karmas), who do not stand a chance against Her.

ram̐ - agnyātmikāyai dīpaṁ darśayāmi
|
रँ - अग्न्यात्मिकायै दीपं दर्शयामि

Hold the lower tip of the bottom phalange of the middle fingers of both hands with the upper tip of the thumbs, with the back of the hand facing us. |
5 |
vam̐ - amṛtātmikāyai amṛtaṁ mahānaivedyaṁ nivedayāmi
|
वँ - अमृतात्मिकायै अमृतं महानैवेद्यं निवेदयामि
|
Hold the lower tip of the bottom phalange of the ring fingers of both hands with the upper tip of the thumbs, with the back of the hand facing us. |
6 |
sam̐ - sarvātmikāyai sarvopacāra pūjām samarpayāmi
|
सँ - सर्वात्मिकायै सर्वोपचार पूजाम् समर्पयामि
|
Hold the fingers of each palm in a folded manner with the tips of each fingers of both hands touching each other and the thumbs facing the heart, in a Namaste position. |
7. japamālā mantraṃ (जपमाला मन्त्रं) :-
Recite the below mantra once, to pray to the japa māla and invoke the blessings for a fruitful japa.
om̐ māṃ māle mahāmāye sarvamantra svarūpiṇi।
caturvarga stvayinyasta stasmānye siddhidā bhava॥
ॐ मां माले महामाये सर्वमन्त्र स्वरूपिणि।
चतुर्वर्ग स्त्वयिन्यस्त स्तस्मान्ये सिद्धिदा भव॥
8. Guru Mantra (गुरु मन्त्र):-
Recite the following guru mantra once, to seek the blessings of all gurus and the Guru.
om̐ hrīṃ siddhaguro prasīda hrīṃ om̐
ॐ ह्रीं सिद्धगुरो प्रसीद ह्रीं ॐ
9. Atha Śrī Mahāśūlinī Durgā Mantraḥ (अथ श्री महाशूलिनी दुर्गा मन्त्रः) :
Recite the following mantra at least 108 times, preferably on a rudrakṣa or turmeric māla.
oṃ namo bhagavati digbandhanāya kam̐ kāli kālarātri dum̐ durge śūm̐ śūlini vam̐ vaṭukabhairavi ardharātrivilāsini mahāniśipratāpakelini mahājñādhari sarvabhūtapreta piśāca sarvajvaraśāntini madabhīṣṭamākarṣayākarṣaya mahāvaṭukabhairavī hum̐ phaṭ svāhā ।
oṃ namo bhagavati rudrakāli kālakūṭamohini aim̐ klīm̐ hrīm̐ iṣṭakāmyārthasiddhipradāyini sakalajñapini saṃkrāmani brāhmī maheśvari kaumāri vaiṣnavi vārāhi mahendri cāmuṇḍi vaṭukabhairaveśvari ākarṣayākarṣaya āveśayāveśaya praveśaya praveśayakelay kelaya bhāṣaya bhāśaya hrīm̐ aim̐ hana hana saptamātṛke hum̐ phaṭ svāhā ।
ॐ नमो भगवति दिग्बन्धनाय कँ कालि कालरात्रि दुँ दुर्गे शूँ शूलिनि वँ वटुकभैरवि अर्धरात्रिविलासिनि महानिशिप्रतापकेलिनि महाज्ञाधरि सर्वभूतप्रेत पिशाच सर्वज्वरशान्तिनि मदभीष्टमाकर्षयाकर्षय महावटुकभैरवी हुँ फट् स्वाहा ।
ॐ नमो भगवति रुद्रकालि कालकूटमोहिनि ऐँ क्लीँ ह्रीँ इष्टकाम्यार्थसिद्धिप्रदायिनि सकलज्ञपिनि संक्रामनि ब्राह्मी महेश्वरि कौमारि वैष्नवि वाराहि महेन्द्रि चामुण्डि वटुकभैरवेश्वरि आकर्षयाकर्षय आवेशयावेशय प्रवेशय प्रवेशयकेलय् केलय भाषय भाशय ह्रीँ ऐँ हन हन सप्तमातृके हुँ फट् स्वाहा ।
Meaning:-
This mantra combines the meaning of the 15 lettered Śūlini mantra and goes into extreme detail and specifies destruction of all types of planetary afflictions related to health and general well-being. It invokes the seven Mātṛka devis as well as Vaṭukabhairavī for greater protection and for gaining all types of knowledge. Complete destruction and annilhilation of all enemies, removal of all types of fear from health, planetary effects, extra-dimensional beings etc. Complete protection of the entire body is assured as well as well-being. This is a highly potent mantra for removal of all types of black magic and misery and fulfillment of any and all desires.

13. Samarpaṇam (समर्पणम्):-
Take water in uttaraṇi and by reciting the following śloka, offer the water to the earth.
guhyātiguhyagoptrī tvaṁ gṛhāṇāsmat-kṛtaṁ japam।
siddhirbhavatu me devi tvatprasādānmayi sthirā ॥
गुह्यातिगुह्यगोप्त्री त्वं गृहाणास्मात्कृतं जपम्।
सिद्धिर्भवतु मे देवि त्वत्प्रसादान्मयि स्थिरा॥
14. japānantaraṃ mālāmantraṃ (जपान्ततरं मालामन्त्रं) :-
Recite the below śloka and mantra, followed by placing the māla upon the top of the head and then place it back in the māla bag and conceal it. It should NOT be worn.

śubhaṃ kuruṣya me bhadre yaśo vīryaṃ ca dehime॥
श्लोक॥ ॐ त्वं माले सर्वदेवानां प्रीतिदा शुभदा भव।
शुभं कुरुष्य मे भद्रे यशो वीर्यं च देहिमे॥
mantra॥ om̐ hrīṃ siddhyai namaḥ॥
मन्त्र॥ ॐ ह्रीं सिद्ध्यै नमः॥
