One also sees nāma 141 in IAST rendered as “śāntā”. Is either pronunciation equally meaningful?

It is very difficult to achieve that state of meditation but with intense practice and over time, it will happen. One needs to get started with meditation at some point of time. Meditating with an image as prescribed in Mantra japa is a starter which automatically becomes niṣkalā at some point of time.

We don't have any of our articles in Tamil or any other language except in English and they're posted online. Long ago we used to take the trouble of translating to other languages and providing pdfs etc, but we are no longer doing it now. You may use google translate or online tools such as Aksharamukha to transliterate Devanāgari to Tamil or any other language that is supported by Aksharamukha, which pretty much covers every popularly known language in the world.

All the 12 nāmas are present in this Stotram. The website is best viewed on a PC. Please scroll down and you will see the entire Stotram and the nāmas.

This stotram will generate a lot of heat and rage also. So take it slowly and if possible drink some buttermilk or anything to cool you down. Also, ensure that your left nostril is active at the time of reciting the Stotram. You should not recite just after consuming food or after a workout etc. as the right nostril becomes active.

There is a Tamil book on Śrī Ucchiṣṭa Gaṇapati by Shri Aravind Subramaniam. He publishes it from time to time and you may book a copy for his next print. I had 6 copies and gave them away to gurus and friends and have none for myself! I wish I kept at least one for myself as it does contain many stotras that are not available anywhere. You can write to me at krishna@manblunder.com and I can share Mr. Aravind's email id for you to contact. You can try google translate for Tamil translation and also use Aksharamukha online tool for translating from Devanāgari to Tamil as needed.

Humble pranaams Krishnaji! Thank you so much for replying. So I did try again like I said and like you said the effects grew lesser each time. A slight rash did develop yesterday too but it did not persist and went away. Can it be due to a clash in energies between the Mantra I am chanting & the energy of Maa, when I think about her while chanting? Do you think that is possible or just my imagination working in overdrive? Also there is something else that I need your help with. Is it okay if I send you a mail regarding this?

What is described in nāma 140, from vijnana bhairava, seems to involve an extraordinary exertion. It almost feels exhausting. How does one acclimate to such a state of prolonged use of strong intellect without risking burning out or becoming discouraged before success is achieved?

In nāma 142, is “pūṇnamidam” correct, or should it be “pūṇṇamidam”?
