Those who are able to concentrate without any need for aids can definitely proceed with practicing meditation directly. Mantra japa is not mandatory to practice meditation but can be a great aid to gradually infuse spiritual awareness within, to help progress towards meditation.

Hello sir, so spirituality starts with rituals with mantra japa as the highest ritual form. Then sadhakas move from counting beads to focusing on the mantra and its meaning, then focusing on the conceptualized deity which is meditation. Does meditation practice starts with the starting deities such as Bala and Mahaganapati or sadhakas should refrain from practicing meditation early on?

She should not be inferred from the Trika philosophy. Consider this as a separate Śākta philosophy that runs parallel to Trika. In terms of the Śākta philosophy, She transcends Parāśiva and Mahākāla and is the Divine Feminine - Śakti, who animates Śiva in various forms and stages as depicted in the Saptapretāsana. We will publish an article explaining this in brief.

Namaste sir, in the #3. karanyāsaḥ "nam̐ āpadudhāraṇāya tarjanībhyāṃ namaḥ", should it be "vam̐ āpadudhāraṇāya tarjanībhyāṃ namaḥ"?

I am a follower of Trika (a newbie) and your explanation of Pratyangira contradicts my understanding of Shakti, In terms of Trika could you describe her relation with Parabhairava? I. e. What kind of Shakti of Parabhairava she is in Trika terminology....
