Agni is endowed with 64 Kalas in the human body, which is a miniature of the Universe. Of the total 64 Kalas, only 8 have manifested, and the rest are locked, indicating that the human body and the Universe have not reached their maximum evolutionary potential. The Divine Mother Maha Tripura Sundari is endowed with 64 Kalas of Fire, 16 Kalas of the Sun, 12 Kalas of the Moon, and 4 Kalas of the Stars. This Mother Tripura Sundari became exiled to the lowest point (Earth) as Tripura Bhairavi, who is the one who limits the 64 Kalas of Agni and releases them progressively, enabling a bearable evolution for this Universe and the human race. If the Divine Mother were to release these 64 Kalas all at once, the human being and the Universe would not withstand it and would be dissolved and reabsorbed by her. This is not what the Mother wants. That is why this Mother Tripura Bhairavi exists: she is releasing the completeness of Maha Tripura Sundari little by little. This Tripura Bhairavi progressively releases the power of the Sundari Kutas, and she is doing this with the Universe as well. And the human body is a miniature of this, which at the moment is limited like Bhairavi, but in the future will be the completeness of Sundari. There is a Manifestation of the Mother called Chinnamasta. This Mother releases the 64 Kalas all at once, and almost always the devotee dies because he cannot withstand it. The same would happen with our Universe. Mother Chinnamasta will be useful in the future when humanity is more mature; she will greatly help to accelerate the process, but today she is absolutely unfeasible. Something similar occurs with Kadi Panchadashi; if you recite it without having safely and progressively released the 64 Kalas of Agni, it will basically destroy your entire being, and only your incomplete Purushas will remain, which will be reabsorbed into her (Salvation). But whoever wishes only to leave and not complete their own evolution, go straight to Kadi Panchadasi. It will consume everything from you, until only your undying part remains. Kadi Panchadasi signifies the complete unlocking of all Kalas at once: Fire, Sun, Moon, and Stars. Sundari signifies the end of the journey, not its beginning. The beginning is Bhairavi. Chinnamasta will be better understood only in the future. It will be very useful in the future. That's why Tantra is like being a scientist, where wrong moves will certainly cause problems.
