Thank you for publishing this Stotram, I read it on Shani Jayanti from another site (because I did not update your site), but now on Saturday I read the translation you published.

Lalita Sahasranama follows entirely different colour pattern for chakras. If we want to meditate on chakras, we have to take only VIBGYOR pattern. We have to meditate on each chakras with respective colours and over a period of time, you realize the colour of a particular chakra. It is only the practice that counts.

Dear Ravi sir, I have seen that about the kundalini there is a reference in Shri Lalita sahasranama. Infact the colour of particular chakra is also given. In lalitasahasranama the colours of chakras are different. As you stated VIBGYOR is the chakra colours Red is for Mooladhar and voilet for Sahasrara chakra. Like in Lalita Sahaaranama 102-103 Manipur chakra colour of 3 palats is Red but in the artical Red colour for mooladhar chakra is suggested. And almost all the chakra colours are different in Shri Lalita sahasranama . I have two questions regarding this: 1. Whether we can really see these colours while meditating the chakra? 2. Whether one who practice the Lalita Sahasranam really see the different colours? Please explain as per your experience.

You may contact the same guru who has previously initiated into other mantra(s). It is best to stick to one mantra at a time, instead of many at a time.

Please follow the prescribed number of chants per day as mentioned in the book and proceed. It is very time consuming to recite a thousand counts of any śloka. Wishing you the very best in your sādhana. Do it to the best of your ability and DO NOT have any expectations or desires from the japa. Surrender to Devi and may She bless you as She wills.

I’m sure you are aware that almost every Soundarya Lahari text states each Sloka needs to be chanted 1000 (or sometimes 2000 or even 4000) times a day for a certain amount of days. Is this accurate? What is a good amount of repetitions to chant per day? Thank you.

There is not much information available about this form of Lord Gaṇeśa, but you may check the volumes called śrī vigneśvara stuti mañjari by Sri S.V. Radhakrishna Sastrigal.
