That is a correct assumption.

At the time of Pūrṇādīkṣa, a dīkṣānāma is generally given. There can be some variations based on the tradition and it is up to your guru to decide on when to confer a new name.

If you have been initiated into a variation of the Śrī Bālā Tripurasundarī mantra, then the initiating guru can guide you further on the dīpanī etc. If you are unsure, then you may follow the general saṁskāras mentioned in the Mantra components and Mantra fruition articles.

Dear guruji, May I know what changes this mantra brings to us. Such as I am doing government job, a clerk job, salary is low and and promotion in my job is unlikely as department do not have enough setup for promotion of mine. As per astrology, I do not have yoga for promotion or business etc. I wanted to know, how (or in what way) siddha Lakshmi can bring changes for wealth. Thanks

The Mantra japa paddhati for the Saundarya Laharī ślokas is not part of any specific tantra that I am aware of. There are books that describe the yantras associated with the verses and the suggested count for reciting the verses as mantras. You may refer to them if interested. You can preview some of them on exoticindia.com and decide upon which book to purchase.

Please see the reply from Jayanth ji. It has the reference to the information you have requested. There is also a new Telugu book with the exact same title that also includes the dikbandhana procedures that would be appropriate for those wishing to practice these Ṛks. At some point of time in the future, we shall certainly look at publishing the Ṛks that Shri Tripuraghna has provided.
