It is mentioned in the Puraścaraṇa ( पुरश्चरण ) section as 100,000, which is 1 lakh.

The 'Note' at the top of the article explains the difference between Śrī Mahākāla and Śrī Kāla Bhairava. The other synonyms can be applied to the same deity. The word 'Mahā' is the greater aspect of the same deity. It can be applied to any of the synonyms that you mentioned. The mantra you mentioned seems to be related to the destruction of dualities and their absorption within Śrī Mahākāla Bhairava. This is just my assumption and not a considered opinion. If we know the source of the derivation of the mantra, then the insight could be more accurate.

Shri Gurave namah! I'm studying for now and trying to comprehend simple accessible sources. I asked about the tradition, because from the sources I read it is not entirely clear whether Mahakala and Shiva Mahakala, Kala Bhairava and Mahakala Bhairava are one and the same. In the explanatory chapters they are usually equated, but at the practical level when they talk about Mahakala, they mention nivritti marga, moksha, destruction of duality and time, while Kala Bhairava is associated with vashikaran, elimination of enemies and obstacles, obtaining benefits. And I would also like to know, could you please clarify something about this mantra ह्रीं ह्रीं हूं महाकाल ह्रीं ह्रीं हूं | hrīṃ hrīṃ hūṃ mahākāla hrīṃ hrīṃ hūṃ Found in a booklet on the mantra sadhana of Kala Bhairava by Sri Raj Verma, along with this Shodashakshara Mahamantra and a few others.

Namaste Jayanth. Better than my words are his words in his last discourse called "The Great Sermon" where he summarizes the entire practice: https://www.vallalar.org/English/VORG000000002B

I appeal to you not to waste any more time. The greatest pride and salvation of humanity has chosen India as its starting point through Vallalar. There is no need to complicate things too much, just see the face of God in all beings and help them to the best of your ability while meditating on the Arutperunjothi Mantra. If you come across evil people, look at them with compassion knowing that they are like that only because they have not yet discovered their true nature. If you cannot help, just pray for the relief of the pain of every being in this Universe. The coming of Vallalar was an invitation for human beings to come together and break the prison they live in in this Universe, bringing heaven to earth. You do not have to go anywhere; humans have to bring the supreme to this Earth and take the lead in its destiny.
