Beautiful explanation, though I didn´t hear about that taanmatras are part of subtle body, cause are closest to mahabhuutas and the origin of these near the gross forms. How can manas works without taanmatras?Sounds logic that taanmatras are a part of the subtle body.Thank you and respects.

True... Kalki avatar of Vishnu shall be a lethal combination of man god and Chanakya (the most able administrator in the history of mankind)! Advent of Kalki Avatar is expected around 2012~2014

The last line of your informative post caught my attention. I've heard similar notions in my Buddhist practice, typically to inspire devoted practice. As I was born in the west and find rebirth hard to accept, I stumbled across a quote by renowned atheist Richard Dawkins that has a similar assertion (albeit with no intention towards enlightenment): "We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here." So even for the doubter, our human birth is miraculous and the time for strident action is now. Right now!

That's why I never say "Merry Christmas!" from my website to the visitors. There is always someone coming to correct something or write a rude comment (as in this case). There is no shortage of fools in this world. One shouldn't attract their attention by saying "Merry Christmas" from the website then.

In Islam mohammed is specifically NOT divine, he is human. Historically, Jesus never existed, so it doesn't make any sense to equate Jesus or Mohammed to avatars. Please refrain from such silly politeness, otherwise your blog is top notch!

Well. After going through a spiritual crisis and then thankfully an emergence. I came across Kundalini Yoga. Maya Fiennes. It was a revelation to begin with. But.... when your chakras are open and the kundalini is rising and you connect. Great ... but ... you still have to deal with your shit!! when open, the good suff comes, but also the painfull. So painfull, the pychosis is looking like a way out for me. So ... Kundalini can be wonderful, if you study it before hand and know about when to raise it, but also know when not to go there. For your own sanity. Will be having words with Maya Fiennes people to address this problem. With love from a joyful sufferer that witnessed the Divine, but still continues to suffer.

Thanks to the writer for enlightening me on "Karma" through the series of Articles 'Karma and the soul". The content and flow of the topic helps a layman to clearly understand and grasp this all-important concept.... Best wishes to the owner of this website for his/her yeoman service for propagation of the lessons taught in our Hindu scriptures! God Bless!Hari Om
