Namaste. Thanks for sharing such an amazing experience. 5th house in birth chart indicates past birth punyas. Does it indicate accumulated upasana karmas carried forward? Retrograde ascendant lord Mars, allows one to follow their own system. My Astrology Guru, used to tell us, don't tell those with Retrograde Mars, which God he should worship. They have their own system. They can understand karmic accounts well.

How many times one has to recite this Kavacham? Does this Kavacham and Sahasranaam require initiation?

Joseph, If both your ascendant and sign are Aries (associated with the God of War), if your sign lord is Mars (this is the planet closely associated with Narasimha and is Pratyangira's favorite planet), if your nakshatra lord is the apex of enlightenment which is Ketu (kṣam means enlightenment of the highest order), if your varna is the warrior and noble class KṢAtriya, if your tattva is fire (Pratyangira is the pure form of fire which is Agni), if your metal is the highly cutting iron (Mahatripurasundari is associated with gold which despite being auspicious is not highly cutting like iron), if your radical ruler is the judge of the planets which is Saturn (this planet is closely associated with Mahakali), if your favorable color is black and if your favorable God is Bhairava, then you are an ancient devotee of Atharvana Bhadrakali. This configures the association of the powers of Narasimha (Maha Vishnu), Bhairava/Sharabha (Paramashiva) and Adiparashakti (Mahakali). This configures the characteristics of anger, warrior instinct, justice and enlightenment of the highest order, which are the characteristics of Pratyangira. If you have these configurations at birth, then it is better to forget gods or goddesses who are not at least Prachanda. You were born to be a devotee of the Teevra class. You can focus on your spiritual practice or protect society in some noble role, you will have the energy to do both if you prefer.

Śrī Bālā is associated/viewed as same as Śrī Tripurā Bhairavī within Śrī Vidyā tradition? That is absolutely fascinating. Could you share more about this please?

Why are Khadgamālā often so effective? They seem uncommonly efficient. Does it depend on karmas or something? Śrī Pratyangirā Devī khadgamālā seems wildly effective in achieving engagement with higher beings, relative to time & energy commitment. Perhaps it is in part that this specific mantras are able to effectively capture the attention in a way many other practices do not, due to riveting and striking contents?

What is the impact of the daily count is somewhat variable, or days are occasionally missed? There is still some effectiveness I hope. Or is the progress and merit largely lost?
