Since Mahaganapati mantra is not too long, it can be easily recited in one breath or two counts in one breath. If you are not comfortable with this, reduce your breathing rate. You can read the following explanation. Now inhale by expanding your abdomen and slightly pushing your head back (count between 4 and 6) - hold the breath for a few seconds (may be you can count between 6 to 9) within - exhale slowly by contracting your abdomen (may be you can count the same 6 to 9) and bring down your head close to chest - do not inhale and hold inhalation for a few seconds (may be 2 to 4). This completes one round. Now let us calculate. At the lowest numbers 4 + 6 + 6 + 2 = 18At the highest numbers 6 + 9 + 9 + 4 = 28 At the lowest numbers your breathing rate would be 3.30 per minuteAt the highest numbers you breathing rate would be 2.14 per minute You can modify the numbers to suit your comfort zone. There is no need to follow these numbers as they are only illustrative in nature. During this practice, please ensure that your breathing does not exceed 4 per minute. At the time of exhalation, you have to visualize that you are exhaling through your spine. When you visualize this, you will feel pressure from your heat chakra onwards towards sahasrara.

Dear Sir,Kindly advise is it possible to split MahaGanapathy as well into different Kutas or should we complete full mantra during Inhalation and second time during exhalation.

Your priest is right. There are exceptions given in Garuda Purana. Only in those cases, it is not suggested. Please refer Garuda Purana II.26.

The second one is mostly used in Śrī Vidyā tradition. One recitation of Pañcadaśī mantra is equivalent to three repetitions of Turya Gāyatrī. It is also said that Turya Gāyatrī gives liberation.

Hi sir, My uncle passed away on 08/08/2014 . He has two sons and his younger son has got engaged. His father fixed the marriage date as 22nd of february of 2015. The son is willing to marry as per his father's wish. By that time only six months would have gone by. Is it possible to proceed with the marriage before 1 year of his father's death or is there anything that they can do to proceed with the same?. Requesting you to reply at the earliest..

I'm referring to these version1: om | bhūrbhuvassuvaḥ | tatsaviturvareṇyam | bhargo devasya dhīmahi | dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt || 2:om tatsaviturvareṇyaṁ |bhargo devasya dhīmahi |dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt |pāro rajase sāvadom ||It can be observed that both the versions are slightly different from each other and the first version is the most popular one, so is there any difference when you chant the second one?Regards,Jayanth
