I would suggest checking stotranidhi or sanskritdocuments.org for stotras. Some variations always exist between scriptures and traditions and one can accept what is passed down through their guru lineage.

You are scholars, is it possible for a layman, like me, who has no guru and wants to avoid other people like family to know of he's undertaking mantra chanting. I don't have a guru and in cities it's tough to find a proper one. I consider Prabhu Prahlad as my guru. If I let him know that I wish to initiate, is it permissible?

Stephen, please reach out to me directly. The Lord sporting with Himself is the same as rolling the dice etc. It is also not important whether Brahma is fallen or risen. What is important to us is our own evolution to reach the super-consciousness. Let us focus all our efforts on that mission and not worry about other trivial matters.

Ananandanandanatha didn't censor comments... Perhaps someone could be reminded that we are a community of "believers" that don't want to spread seeds of doubt and fear. We believe as sanatanis that everything is the Lord sporting with himself and that God does NOT roll the dice... Brahma is not fallen. And according to the guru that initiated everyone here, Shiva reigns supreme! There are no accidents and we are all exactly where we should be. Having faith in the absolute free will of God is a requirement for God-realization. Those who spread avidya, despite having a lot of book knowledge, should be reminded that it isn't appropriate to poison the already impure minds of those who have taken initiation here. I am sure this comment will be censored but I feel it's my duty to say it's a real shame seeing what's being taught as true.

This stotram can be recited by anybody. There are no mantras that I am aware of associated with this stotram.

My question is to Krishna ji. Is initiation not required for this stotram, because of https://manblunder.com/articlesview/loans-debts-and-other-financial-struggles I think I'm confused because of two opposite statements because I think the stotram contains mantras.

Mukha chandra aabha == the moonlike brightness of Her face kalanka == the dark-colored adornment on Her forehead mriga naabhi == (which adornment is the) musk from the musk-deer (poetically, musk taken from the musk-deer's navel) visheshaka == the contrast of the dark musk bindi on the moon-bright face enhances the glow of Her face

Thank you, sir, for your reply. I also asked my guru about this, and he advised me not to get distracted from Bala, but to hold firmly to her lotus feet, assuring that my desires will be fulfilled. Additionally, before beginning the Bala mantra japa, my guru initiated me into the Tripura Bhairavi curse removal mantra and instructed me to chant it 100 times. From the next day onward, he asked me to chant it 10 times every day before starting the japa. I also shared with him that this Bala mantra first came to me in a dream a long time ago.
