In what case do you experience the symptoms you mentioned: fatigue, pain in the neck and shoulders, indigestion...? In the case of kundalini rising through sushumna or through ida/pingala?

Namaskaram , Recently I have come across a video from a guru about Bala Sadhana indicating it should be practiced by only by women. Attached link below I have been initiated to Sri Vidhya and Ganapathy and Bala are basics. I am puzzled by KB Gopalkrishna’s comments. Any clarification you can provide will be appreciated. Thank you Pranam Srinivas https://youtu.be/9kCaErDPnCo?si=LtF7IwMTLhW79Us-

Dear Krishnaji, Humble Pranams! I have always considered you as one of my Gurus & who got me started into chanting of Pratyangira Sarvartha Sadhaka Kavacham & Pratyangira Ashthottara Shatanaamavali. I have been chanting the Kavacham for more than an year and Ma's Shatnamavali for nearly a 10 months now. You forbade me from reading the Siddhilakshmi Pratyangira Stotram & I have never read it again. I have also stayed away from chanting Ma's other mantras beause you had warned that it is not to be done without initiation for obvious reasons. Recently though, I came across this free ebook called Ksham Meditation that says anybody can do this meditation and the procedure involves thinking OM in your mind while inhaling & saying KSHUM again in your mind while exhaling. The link to the site is here: https://pratyangira.org/pratyangira-devi/pratyangira-sadhana/ I thought it better to ask you first that going headlong into this. I trust your judgement completely & seek your advice on the same. (PS: On your aadesh of not reading Siddhalaxmi Pratyangira Stotram, if I just copy paste the english meaning of the stotram onto a word file and read only the english meaning, will that be okay?)

If we received upadesha for one of Tara’s mantras, are we able to perform her Nyasa? Or do we need guidance of a guru or mentor? Thank you.

It can vary by the tradition that you are following. Normally, it is 900,000 for japa and the 10ths to the rituals associated with Puraścaraṇa. Akṣara laksa is also commonly practiced, making it 2,800,000. Unless you have been done the Puraścaraṇa for the Aṅga devatas, I would not recommend performing Puraścaraṇa for this mantra. I am also assuming that you have done adequate amount of Śrī Cakra pūja also over the years.

It is best to read it as a stotram and not practice as a mantra. The complete mantra vidhi has not been provided here as I am not aware of it.

You may check with the priest who conducted the last rites and enquire on the mourning period. In general, after the 12th/13th day, normal activities can resume and one can visit temples etc. In some traditions, weddings and other auspicious events are not celebrated at home or within the family at least for 1 year from the date of passing.
