Ravi, you make it seems so easy. But an ordinary person can't figure this out. You definitely got to be learned!

Hello Ravi This is Easter week-end. I wonder then why some temples insist people eat no meat from Friday onwards if you want to go to certain temples on Sunday. Also, if you go to some temples during religious times you are not allowed to go around the Murti if you are not fasting.I remember hearing a story about how Siva blessed a woodcutter even though this man put meat on the Lingam.

Wonderful series with awesome insight. These articles appear as if a lecture is delivered in person. Thank you so much for making Brahma Sutras so simple to understand.

There is no such prescription. If you are talking about mantra siddhi, you have to perform purascharana. For example, if you recite 100,000 japas, 10% of 100,000 i.e. 10,000 oblations should be made and 1000 times tarpana and 100 times mantra bath and finally you have to feed 10 Vedic Scholars. Kavacha-s will not work like moola mantras. Kavaccha means protection. It will only protect from any possible misfortunes, subject to his karmic account.

If you are asking it in plain English (without IAST),I think it is going to be difficult. If in IAST format, I can send you 300 names. If you are interested in this, please send me a mail to my ID ravi@manblunder.com
