Dear Raviji, Should the unblocking mantra be chanted for 108 times only once or till the block is successfully removed? Many thanks for the clarification.

The earlier Gāṇapatya Tantras were not very elaborate on pātrasthāpanā, the pinnacle of which is Viṣēśārghya and its use. The concept of Viṣēśārghya is originally from Kaula Tantras such as Yoginījālaśambhara, which has been adopted by various other sects in numerous forms. As most Kaulas or upāsakas of Dēvī are also frequently worshipers of Vināyaka as well, it seems natural that these procedures have been adopted by Gāṇapatya procedures as well. That said, the procedure of pātrasthāpanā is very complex and intricate and a core part of Tāntrika saparyā. Generally, the procedures are not different based on the deities but based on the school. Yes, pañcaśuddhi may be specific in case of Tārā, but the major differences lie elsewhere. In the case of śrīvidyā, the procedures differ between the Mālinī and Madhumatī krama. They also differ in the case of Mahāvidyā deities based on Kērala, Kāśmīra, and Kāmarūpācāra. They can also be different based on sampradaya such as Hayagrīva, Dakṣiṇāmūrti or ānandabhairava. Finally, the components, pātra, dravya, śuddhi, viniyōga - also depend on the purpose of the ritual.

There maybe some differences in the arghya processes for different deities, but you may follow the standard process also for all deities. It is well documented in the Mantra Mahodadhi as well. You can use the same process of the arghya sthāpana, as used in Vallabha Gaṇapati pūja.

Pranams! Would you be so kind and point where I can find information which describes the symbology of the Ganapati Yantra devatas (buddhi, amoda, samrdhhi, pramoda, etc.) There should be 53 of them.

Krishna ji. Namaste. Kindly confirm if we can follow steps of samanarghya and viseshargya as done in vallabha ganapati yantra puja. ? Also, the basic steps of preparing these two arghyas will be similar for all dasa mahavidyas also ? Kindly confirm.

The above procedure seems like a Puranic one (there are no "vedic" upacharas) - derived mainly for devotional daily activity. But if Varahi is to be worshiped as per ta diva smaredvartalim - other than in Rashmimala, even remembrance of Vartali, her name or mantra is restricted only for night. Varahi tantra does recommend night worship, but if she is not worshiped as Dandini of Lalita, but as the main deity then she can also worshiped during all three sandhyas.

I purchased a new vigraha of Sri Varahi Devi and want to do the Pooja as per the procedure here. What is an ideal time to do the Pooja? Morning or night ?
