15. aḥ - auṁ - Citrā अः – चित्रा: Instead of ah – aum – am chkaum is appropriate here.Ah is for sodasi. It is advisable to worship the tithi nityas with their mulamantras atleast. Infact vowel of each nitya is to be prefixed and suffixed its mula mantra. For example,4 am -------mula mantra of kaameswari nity------ am kameswari nitya sri mani padukam pujayami tarpayami namh. One more important procedure is as follows:1. Worship maha nitya in bindu with sodasi/panchadasi for three times2. Then, worship leading nitya i.e.nitya of the tithi on which day navavarana puja is being done with the corresponding mantra in bindu only for three times.3. Then, start with that leading nitya worship all nityas upto last nitya. For example, if we are doing puja on sukla panchami, then start with vahni vasini nitya (marked as 5 in the diagram) and worship 6,7…..to 15. Then worship mahanitya in bindu three times.4. Again start worshipping nityas from 15,14,13,12………1. Then worship mahanitya at bindu three times. Then again worship from 1,2….5. Then worship mahanitya three times again. Then stop here.5. Above procedure may look cumbersome. But if you observe keenly, worshipping of nityas as above contemplates a circle which is nothing but bindu. If we consider the example given in 3 & 4 above, we started with 5th nitya and ended with 5th nitya. This makes a circle. Since, mahanitya (Sri Lalitamata) is in bindu with siva, nityas are also around her making a form like bindu. Above procedure ensures this concept.

Om Gam ganapataye namah:We can observe origin of ganapati in lalita sahasranama also. "Kameswara mukha loka kalpida sree ganeswara". Tantrik version:Just near to muladhara chakra there is a swayambhu siva linga. A hasteendranana (very strengthen and awesome elephant) is carrying this linga. The place of this linga with this elephant is just below the muladhara and above the vishu chakra. Kundalani is in sleeping position in and around the trunk of this elephant. This elephant is known as Ganapati. The starting point of kundalini. That's why kundalini will not be activated unless the saadhaka worships ganapati properly. This is the importance of ganapati worship for kundalini activation.Secret here is that the linga can be associated with Srikaalahasteeswara. Reason being, at muladhara there is hasti (elephant), kaala (serpant/Kundalini) and Sri (spider/naadis). So symbolically, Sreekalahasteeswara is nowhere other than at our muladhara. This is very secret in nature. Now open to all.

Sapindikarana can be performed at home. Except a homa for Yama on 11th day, all other rituals can be performed at home. Theoretically speaking, monthly ceremonies need not be done, as these are initially done. Gifts to knower of Vedas is acceptable.

Respected Sir, Our priest performed the Sapindikarana Shraddha at our own house, when my father passed away recently. Is that in accordance with the shastras or is it against the dictates of vedas / smritis ?As we are not doing the monthly shraddhas, we are giving Swayampaka (Gifts to One Brahmin person), will that be acceptable or not as per the rules ?I Request you to Kindly enlighten me in this regard and oblige. Thank You

22.4.55) मङ्गलरात्रिकम् MaṅgalarātrikamAfter showing chakra mudra, recite the following mantra..“ 4 jagadhvani mantra maatah swaahaa”. While reciting this mantra offer gandha, akshata to lamps. Then by making sound with ghanta lift the lamps plate up. Then recite,“4 Sree Lalitai mangalaaraartikam kalpayami namah”. Then recite following mantra nine times.amasta cakra cakreśīyute devi navātmike |ārātrikamidaṁ dubhyaṁ gṛhāṇa mama siddhaye ||How to do it? And what is the importance of this? While reciting the above mantra one has to round the plate three and half times up and then bring the plate down immediately and again three and half times up and bring the plate down immediately….. like this nine times is to be performed. Subtly this represents kundalini. Kundalini will be in three and half size at Moolaadhara and we symbolically representing movement of this kundalini from mooladhara to sahasrara. These nine deepas represent nine dwaras of human body and centre one is like sahasrara. O ma! Please give us the knowledge of divine by awakening from mooladhara and moving to sahasrara where your consort siva exists. This is the importance of mangalaaraartikam.2) How naivedyam is to be offered?A sqare should be drawn at our right side where srichakra is placed. On this square naivedya should be placed. Then, recite moola mantra and then show dhenu mudra with bija “vam”. Then again recite moola mantra three times.4 sree lalitai naivedyam kalpayami namah. After this achamaniyam etc will be followed. Here we have to show dasa mudras. (nava mudras for panchadasi worshippers)3) In surya puja, “Arunam” may be recited. In Arunam there are mantras of Srichakra. There are other very important mantras in Aurnam which can eradicate maximum all deceases. Subtly Aurnam establishes Srimata only.If no time is there, then sauram and tricha can be recited atleast.4) After completion of chaturaayatana puja, offer that puja with saamaanyaargham to Srimatas left hand i.e. from our right hand.
