I have spoken to many senior doctors on kuṇḍalinī and none of them explicitly accept this phenomenon. However, many of them attend kuṇḍalinī sessions and practice. Kuṇḍalinī cannot be explained in simple medical terms. Soul and Kuṇḍalinī are two factors that make our body function. Whether kuṇḍalinī is awakened or not it has its inherent power. Medically, kuṇḍalinī can be explained as a gland situated at coccygeal body, which is the termination point of coccyx. This is the place in the body where the last coccygeal vertebrae that is covered by aponeurosis (sheet of fibrous connective tissue separating or binding together muscles and organs and bones), where various muscles and nerves are inserted. This is connected to the anus through a ligament (anococcygeal ligament). That is why, mūla bandha and aśvini mudra are used to activate coccygeal region. This portion is has sympathetic nerves, parasympathetic nerves, sacral artery and vein. As coccygeal region is full of nerves, arteries and veins, epithelial cells (tissues), muscle cells, etc, any chemical changes happening in the blood are conveyed to this place and nervous and other systems are activated/modified to obey the orders of chemical messages conveyed through the blood system. All the parts of the body including brain are connected through blood vessels nerves emanating from this point and hence body-mind nexus is established in coccygeal region. That is why, not only these mudras and bandhas are required to awaken the kuṇḍalinī, but also pure food and pure mind are also required to awaken the kuṇḍalinī.

Excellent article sir. In medical terms, how is kundalini energy defined? In case of Kundalini syndrome, how does excess kundalini energy affect Human brain and its nerves?

Why should this be your final query? Learning is a continuous process and by these queries all of us learn together. This clearly means that their ājñācakra is not at all active. Many times, people mistake vibrations in ājñācakra as the ascension of kuṇḍalinī. It is called deceptive ascension. When one's ājñācakra is active, where is time for him to think about others. He is always stays connected with Divine. Those who inflict mental and physical injuries to others, those who impart mantras for a price and those who have commercialized spirituality are fully engulfed by māyā. They not only accrue their own karmas but also increase the karmas of others as well. Best thing is to ignore them. Whatever they practice, they will not have Divine Grace.

Excellent Sir.My Final query.I have heard many people who have raised Kundalini until Ajna chakra have lot from negative energy/thoughts and do evil to do fellow humans. Is that mean that arise of kundalini is not affected by negative thinking in mind?
