It is our intention to publish the kavacas, if there's any interest amongst people to recite and understand the same!
The word kavaca (in IAST), kavacham (simple Sanskrit to English translation) or kavach or kavacha stotra etc. are all synonyms. We prefer to use the IAST standard in the articles, as it's lossless in the transliteration from Sanskrit to Roman letters.

Do you plan to publish Protective Prayers (Kavacham) to the planets in the future? What is the difference between Kavacham and Kavacha?

When received from a guru, it is considered potent. The energization of the yantra and it's process can be followed as prescribed. The shorter or the longer versions based on the availability of time and the effort you would like to put in. Please read the articles related to fructification of mantras, breath alignment etc.

If you have been initiated into these mantras by a guru and advised to do so, then by all means follow the words of the guru. The edict of the guru is final in these matters. If you have not been initiated, I would suggest looking for an appropriate guru to guide you. In cases where you cannot find one, you may follow the self-initiation procedures, follow the rituals associated with mantra purification, energization etc and stick to that single mantra. Once you have completed the specified number of japa and the associated rituals, you may proceed to the other mantras or continue reciting the same daily.
When I started reciting mantras initially, I followed the procedure of reciting many mantras through out the day and found no success. It was only after realizing that we must follow 1 mantra at a time with the proper procedure, guru etc, is when I start seeing benefits. Scriptures such as Mantra Mahodadhi describe mantras as thunderbolts and if wrongly performed, initiated etc. may cause issues. We may not follow the lengthy rituals during our times, but better to perform whatever we can, to the best of our abilities. It is ultimately our faith and effort combined that fetches results. Along the way, even if we are doing things the wrong way, we will receive guidance. This has been my personal experience, as I started my journey picking mantras off websites and blindly reciting them for specific reasons. Guidance came in after a few years.

i am not necessarily motivated by what is the best.i have my own reasons for asking the question.i am desirous of workshipping and chanting two different mantras of two related dieities you please kindly confirm- if you can, whether the doing nyasa of two different dieites can lead to any complications.

is there a need to chant the prana pratistha mantra every time one does mantra japa before doing the japa or a once chanting of that particular prana pratistha mantra enough?

Kāli devi related tantric rituals are recommended to be performed during night. If it's not possible, you may pray to Her requesting permission and perform during the suitable time.

It is best to follow one mantra/deity/yantra at any period of time. You may complete the entire japa procedures of the deity before proceeding to another. In the case of śrī vidya, one can recite the mantras of various deities associated with Mahāṣoḍaśī, in the prescribed manner.

Normally the 16 fold worship (ṣoḍaśopacāra) is done for Vedic energization. The tantric method is slightly different and has been mentioned in the āvaraṇa puja-s on this site. It is always best to follow the entire procedure mentioned for the specific deity, whose yantra you wish to energize. Please remember that the deity, mantra and yantra are to be seen as one. Benefits accrue when the due process is followed.
