Pranaams to you Krishnaji! I had read your above comment and while doing my prayers that evening while chanting Maa's Ashtottara Shatnamavali, this thought suddenly entered my mind that if the Pratyangira Shakti within me, gets activated fully, it would then be able to connect with that energy across the Universe, even the Deities. That would be right, wouldn't it?

There are various publications that you can find on exoticindia.com or amazon and other book seller sites. I would suggest Surendra Saṃhita for detailed information on the Divine Mother Mātaṅgī. There are books published in vernacular languages also that you may refer. Some other information is in manuscripts with a similar title or a chapter named as Mātaṅgī tantram. If you are looking for the type of explanations that we have provided here, I would suggest that you approach a Śrīvidyā guru and learn from them.

Trika philosophy is explained through the triad of parā the highest concerned with identity, parāpara - identity in difference and aparā - difference and sense of difference. The life force of Śakti as Pratyaṅgirā, animates all the deities and allows them to perform their duties. Thus, the association and the various forms and mantras of Her.

No. 11 is the meaning of the above mantra. It is extolling the capability of the māla and its ability to navigate through the maze of the cosmic virtuality to manifest the benefits of the caturvarga [the four puruṣārthas - dharma (righteousness), artha (wealth), kāma (desires), mokṣa (spiritual emancipation)] and also in allowing the fruition of the recited japa mantra.

Humble Pranaams Krishnaji & to everyone here! Just came across this reference of ParaPara Shakti for the first time. What is the difference between ParaPara Shakti and Para Shakti? Also, since there are different swaroopams of Pratyangira, some say that Pratyangira Swaroop is attached to every major Deity, would that mean that Pratyangira is part of every being whether celestial or earth bound? Could that mean that she is inherent in everything & everyone and connected to aatmashakti itself? I understand that showing serpents on gods is to show kundalini, and Maa is named Nagayajnopavita & Mahakundalini, but what is the significance of the 8 serpents said to be on Maa Pratyangira's body? Why the number 8 and what does it signify?

Namaste sir, regarding the mala mantra ( oṃ māṃ māle mahāmāye sarvamantra svarūpiṇi। caturvarga stvayinyasta stasmānye siddhidā bhava॥) that we find in almost all japa vidhi in this site, could you please explain the meaning of it, especially those long words that I could find the meaning anywhere (could they be compound words.). Thank you.
