Namaskarams dear gurujis. Can I augment this mantra with a selected atma bija? For example, appending hrīm (name is Ganesh) or hrīm hrīm between om and ram?

Namaste. 100% agree with Sri Krishna Ji guidance and warning. Thought to reluctantly share my personal experience so others entering the path of Sri Vidya don't make the same mistake. Not knowing the importance of initiation, I began chanting Sri Vidya mantras some time ago after having been on the path of extensive vedic mantra yoga for many, many years. Because I was not initiated, it caused irreparable and irreversible damage in various aspects of my life, but the Divine Mother was still so gracious as it could have been much worst. After initiation, I can attest to the power and grace of my dear initiating Sri Guru Ji, Guru lineage and Divine mothers grace - to say it is a day and night difference would be a big understatement. So, a dire warning and humble request please do not practice Sri Vidya mantras withought bona-fide initiation by a proper Guru and Guru lineage. Among other things, the initiation process in some ways is like the Guru planting the seed of the mantra (thru his or her tapas) in the disciples consciousness so that the disciple thru self sadhana and grace nurtures the seed so it can grow into a blossoming tree or plant. If the seed is not planted by the Guru, no matter how much we try the mantras they won't fructify because the seed is not there. Also, as another example, chanting advanced Sri Vidya mantras is akin to introducing 34.5 KV of electricity into our system when our system is only capable of receiving say 120 V. Our ability to develop capacity and receptivity to properly receive higher "voltage" involves a step by step process provided by Sri Guru, Divine Grace and sincere self effort. Finally, before choosing the path of Sri Vidya (some might say the Sri Vidya path chooses us), it's important to feel a true and genuine connection with our chosen deity as another key element of success on the path involves the devotional sentiment and bond with the deity. If this is not there, then the sadhana will just turn into a mechanical process with low likelihood of success and a lot of wasted time and missed opportunity. I say this, because some times I believe some may be more alured to the mysticism that shrouds Sri Vidya or other tantric paths than a true connection with the deity. Best wishes.

A non-initiate can listen and chant regular stutis and hymns dedicated to the Divine Mother. It is best to avoid tantric hymns and mantras if not initiated. The scriptures are replete with information warning us of imminent dangers. Since the recitation has to happen in a particular manner/vidhi following certain procedures, it is best to find a living guru to assist you with Śrīvidyā.

You should approach a proper Śrīvidyā guru and follow the prerequisites before approaching this mantra. It is mandated that this mantra should be taken from a proper guru through an initiation. There is a proper japa vidhi and extremely powerful mantras like these must be handled with care and through proper guidance. Try your best to find a living guru who can guide you through Śrīvidyā.

Namaste Krishna Ji, Thank you for your extraordinary work in the manblunder website, which has helped us younger ones to find genuine knowledge on our spiritual inclinations. And has also opened doors to sharing of knowledge that advanced upasakas like Tripuraghna Ji and Tivra Ji have obtained. By, God's grace, I have seen your exceptional work range, especially on Divine Mother Pratyangira who happens to be a well kept secret and ferocious forms. Seeing this, dare I ask some articles on Divine Mother SiddhiLakshmi? My humble requests, I plead you with my hands joined. We hardly have any genuine source on her in the internet. In Manblunder too, we have the Navakshari and some insights from Tripuraghna Ji and Tivra Ji. My the Divine Mother Siddhi Lakshmi be kind on us and bless us to gain some insight on her. Pranaam.

Namaste Tripuraghna Ji, thank you very much for your response! Can you please visit this link and confirm whether one can chant the Panchadashi mantra the way this gentleman is chanting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgPKJ8yLA60 and if not then what is the right way to chant this mantra and what is the Purascharana count of this mantra? Best Regards!

Namaste Tripuraghna Ji. So you mean to say without initiation into Panchadashi mantra, recitation of Saundarya Lahari, Lalitā Sahasranāma and Trishati will yield no benefits to the devotee? Is Sri Vidya deeksha the only path to get Lalita's blessings? If so, then recitation of the said Stotras by a non initiate into Sri Vidya will prepare him/her to become eligible to get Sri Vidya Deeksha? Thank you.

Namaste Tanuja. Your question is very important. The Pañcadaśākṣarī should be understood as a chest made of diamonds. Inside this chest there are innumerable precious stones of the most varied types. Each gemstone gives a specific benefit to the devotee. Supreme Divine Mother Lalitā can grant anything, but the devotee needs to tell her what he wants. The key to opening this chest is uninterrupted concentration on Lalitā. The Saundarya Lahari must be understood as a group of certain precious stones within the chest that is the Pañcadaśākṣarī. By meditating on the meaning of each verse, the devotee receives certain gems (benefits) from Lalitā. I can't tell you all the benefits here because there are too many to list. The Lalitā Sahasranāma must be understood as another group of precious jewels inside the chest, but these jewels are more precious and the benefits are greater than the previous ones (Saundarya Lahari). Lastly we have the Lalitā Trishati which is the most precious and auspicious group of jewels within the chest which is the Pañcadaśākṣarī. So how are you going to get these precious gems of Lalitā that are within the Pañcadaśākṣarī without the Mantra itself? Pañcadaśākṣarī combined with uninterrupted concentration on Lalitā opens the chest, then the devotee must indicate to Lalitā the precious stones he is interested in. He indicates the desired gems through the Saundarya Lahari, Lalitā Sahasranāma and Trishati. I believe this is the best explanation you will ever hear. There's no doubt about it. It is the truth.

In the context of powerful Beejaksharas, what is the difference between ह्लीँ (hlīm̐) and ह्ल्रीँ (hlrīm̐) in terms of impact on chakras affected? My uninformed opinion is ह्लीँ (hlīm̐) impacts mostly lower chakras (Muladhara, Svadhistana and Manipura) while ह्ल्रीँ (hlrīm̐) moves up the chain into Anahata and Vishuddhi). Please correct me if this is not correct. Namaste
