It is recommended to follow the japa procedures strictly. Yes, we can try to align the mantra with the breath at a later stage, after sufficient japa has been done (a few hundreds of thousands - lakhs). I do not recommend repeating a mantra at all times without the proper contemplation of the deity and/or the mantra. Instead of repeating the mantra, you may focus on the effects of the mantra, its composition and on any one or two attributes of the deity to gain a greater understanding and strengthen your spiritual footing. It is not easy reciting hundreds of thousands of mantra japa count and this may take a few years in some cases. It is best to do this properly than rush through and tell ourselves that we have chanted day in and day out doing mundane things, but yet the mantra has not activated within us despite our best efforts. You must be aware that mantra japa alone does not bring benefits. It has to be followed up with sufficient āvaraṇa pūja, kavacam, stotram etc. We have to activate it within ourselves through all these tools and then access/harness its power externally. A mantra such as this, whose power is infinite, also has a string of follow-up nyāsas that maybe relevant to fulfilling our desires.

Namaskarams If one has to activate the mantra within, then shouldn't it be repeated lakhs of times? And if a normal householder has to chant these lakhs of times, he will have to be chanting it continuously in mind even during his day to day activities. So, my question is can this be chanted mentally during walking, while doing casual activities, while lying down etc? If yes, then what about the Nyasas, and other procedures? Is it okay if you say the Nyasas, karanyasah and other procedures once in the morning and then later in the day you are mentally chanting without having to do the nyasas everytime you start chanting mentally? If, everytime you chant you have to do as per proper padhati, then that can only be done by someone who is full time into this. It cannot be achieved by householders who also have work to attend to. Please guide. Thanks.

Thank you for the correction dear Tripuraghna. I have made the changes in the article and everything looks okay now. I have changed the title as well!

Namaste Krishna. A single misspelled letter in the Tantric Mantra renders it completely ineffective. This Mantra has 100 letters and not 101 letters. The correct one is "namo bhagavati rājamātaṅgeśvari". It is incorrect to say "namo bhagavati śrī rājamātaṅgeśvari" in this Mantra. The "śrī" must be removed.

Follow the directions given to you by your guru Shri Jayanth ji. He is my first choice for initiations! Regarding the pujas, we don't teach them and rarely write about them on our website, so the recommendation is to find a guru to teach you how to perform the same at home or you may learn from a priest presiding at any temple where the main deity is your upāsana deity, which in this case is Śrī Pratyaṅgirā. I understand that there are no temples in your area and you do not have any access to a guru who can teach you the associated procedures. You may try and book online as the last resort if you are unable to travel to a place where there are Śrī Pratyaṅgirā temples that are able to accommodate your request. I can also recommend Shri Krishna ji of Medhayoga Youtube channel, who will be able to teach you the paddhatis related to Śrī Pratyaṅgirā. It is not easy to get this nod, but you can try. The other alternative would be to join any Tantra courses where they can teach all the procedures.

Dear Prishanaji, Pranaam! I assure I am serious about Maa's Upasana. The online booking of mantra was only because you mentioned that poojas have to be done in temple and there are no Pratyangira Temples anywhere close to where I live. Also, although I want to do her Upasana, I am actually very afraid to do it without proper guidance because she is a Ugra Devta and I have read too many warnings to blindly jump into it. In such a scenario, what can I do? I have now learnt the Kavacham by-heart, thanks to Maa's blessings and enjoy chanting it even while working or even while driving. What should be my further course of action? I am already chanting a mantra given by Jayantji since the last couple of months, which I am to do for atleast 2-3 years as advised by him. Kindly guide me.

I am unaware of this aspect but will look into it and publish if I find any relevant information. Thank you for sharing this information. Are there any references in any known publications that refer to this aspect of the Divine Mother?

Your experience is not common and I pray that this grows further and helps you progress in all walks of life. I am assuming that you have been duly initiated into this mantra and following your guru's advice.

Dear Sir(s), I request that you'd look into the concepts of the Divine Mother Kamakshi parabhattarika who is said to be seated on sapta-pretasana of Indra, Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Isvara, Sadashiva and Mahasadashiva. She is also said to be the form of mula-Chandi and Tripura sundari, her Vidya, being a combination of both Sri Vidya and Chandi Vidya. It'd also be great if you'd be able to explain Soubhagya chintamani. Thank you.

Dear Krishna Sir, I have been reciting Bala Mantra 108 times for over 60 days. Experiencing many mystical/magical things happening around me. People(men and women) stare at me when I enter a room or their space. Many of my relatives have asked me that I am looking fitter, younger etc. Seeing a lot of improvement in health, opportunities to grow, just magical. Some have seen/felt Bala's presence behind/around me. People cannot understand but everybody seem to feel the changed energy and vibration. Kindly share your thoughts on my experience and is this typical what a new sadhak experiences? what should I look for? Thanks sir.
