Many people say this and unfortunately it is not true? One can definitely read this at home and there are no restrictions on this. It is not about death alone. It also deals with the ways and means of our lives and sets ethical and moral standards.

Just to be more clear - I heard from many that reading Garuda Puranam is not good at normal days and that needs to read only within 10 days from one's death. Is it true? If yes, no one will come to know about do and don't in real life. I had a chance to read few things, then realized even a small sin makes one's family miserable.

Māyā can be removed through several ways. Meditation is one of the techniques. Before we seriously proceed towards meditation, we have to seriously explore within. Even without kundalini Cosmic energy enters our body through crown and back head chakras. In the second paragraph, your understanding is perfectly correct. But second part is wrong. It is not necessary to activate sahasrara. When you move towards Sefl-realization, kundalini also ascends to higher chakras without any efforts from our side.

Sir Will One's Maya will be removed only after Kundalini reaching Crown Chakra? i read in One's article that We can remove Maya and clean our mind only through help of Cosmic energy. But Cosmic energy can be absorbed only If kundalini reaches Crown Chakra. In Other Words, To get self realized,Maya needs to be removed. But Maya can be removed only after Sahashara chakra gets activated First. Is my understanding correct?
