Dear Sri. Ravi,The Turya Gayatri Mantra - 5)परोरजसे सावदोम्॥ is given here, but elsewhere you have given it as "पारो रजसे सावदोम्॥". Which is ok, "परोरजसे" or ""पारो रजसे". Please clarify.

Dear Sir,I accept what you say about not chanting this mantra but I have strong intuitive feeling that Soham and sauh is almost same.So one can inhale and exhale sauhu also...And why not, am sure Brahman is not going to hurt me or punish me for breathing sauhu..Please comment...

In poetic parlance, such exaggerations are permitted and you can find the same at the end of every hymn. Recitation of Sahasranamas leads to strong devotion and establishes a powerful connect between the God and the devotee. When devotion increases, mind gets purified and stay focused on that God almost all the time. This way, further karmic impressions are not accrued in this birth. Such worships can also remove karma accrued in the present birth. But past life karmas have to be experienced. This is called "Law of the Lord". Worshiping multiple forms of Gods is due to māyā. Brahman has no form and for most of the people, it is difficult to get rid of this māyā. Unless this māyā is shed, realization will never be possible. Realization is possible only when our mind gets rid off the most powerful māyā.

If the son wants to perform rituals as per Brahmin tradition, he can do it. Nothing will prevent him from following Brahmin rituals.

Namaste Ravi ji.Please clear this doubt...if the accumulated karmas cannot be washed or burnt with our prayers...than why is stated in lalitha/ Vishnu shahasranamam that chanting the once in lifetime make you free of your sins..or reduce the effect of karmas. How to fix on one form of God...on shivratri we will worship Shiva, in navratre we will worship Mother... And so on different Gods on different festival....this is all so confusing...please shed some lightRegardsPoonam
