You may recite any Sarasvatī devi stotras to help you with your education goals. For other competitive victory, Tārā Devī mantras and stotras may be more effective. Initiation to Her mantras is a prerequisite. --Krishna

Both mantras can be considered to be at par with each other. Their power cannot be measured. As is always the case with Tantric mantras, a proper initiation from a skilled and practicing guru is a must. Unless faced with extremely dangerous and life threatening situations, use of such mantras is not warranted, it is better NOT to approach a practicing guru to obtain the same for moderate crises and/or regular needs. --Krishna.
