आज 4-5 वर्षों पश्चात् मेनब्लण्डर ब्लाग किसी कारणवश खोला तो श्री रवि गुरुजी के निधन की दु:खद सूचना प्राप्त हुई । मैं अवाक् और स्तब्ध रह गया । दस वर्षों पूर्व जब मैं " श्रीविद्या रहस्य " पुस्तक लिख रहा था, तब आवश्यक मार्गदर्शन समय-समय पर उन्हीं से प्राप्त हुआ । यही नही, मेरी साधना के प्रारम्भिक वर्षों में मैं ने श्री महागणपति मंत्र साधना, तर्पण, वाञ्छाकल्पलता, श्री सम्पत्करी साधना, महा वाराही मंत्र साधना , मातङ्गेश्वरी साधना, माँ ललिता महात्रिपुरासुन्दरी साधना, त्रिशंकु, नवावरण पूजा एवं अन्य अनेक पूजा - अनुष्ठानों हेतु उनका मार्गदर्शन मुझे प्राप्त हुआ । माँ ललिता उन्हें अपने चरणों में उन्हें सतत् रखें, ऐसी मां ललिता से प्रार्थना है ।

Bhairava sādhanas are life altering and should only be undertaken after seeking guidance and initiation from a practicing guru. This is applicable for all, unless they have been conferred a "sarvamantrādhikāra dīkṣa", which is typically given in some Śrī Vidyā traditions after Mahāpūrṇābhiṣeka ritual. If that is not applicable, then the best option is to recite the 108 names three times a day and seek His protection. This could suffice for most of our needs.

I would recommend consulting a guru for mantra japa. A self-initiation is only in extreme cases where there is no availability of a qualified guru. In your case, you may seek permission from the priests who may be qualified to grant you a mantra for japa purposes. You can then proceed with the japa in the manner prescribed by the initiating guru along with all the procedures suggested by them.

Dear manblunder team, I used to do pooja in a mahakali temple in south india. The pooja of this temple is not done by Brahmins but by Kshatriyas. I've been very ardently reciting lalita sahasranama stotram since a very long time now and I have had great experiences through it. I've never felt the need to chant any additional mantras to please her since so many years since I used to feel she's satisfied by my chanting of lalita sahasranama. I'm also an upasaka whose chanted 10lakh panchakshari japa in 41 days by the mother's grace. I don't know why but I'm getting an innate feeling since a few days that I must start chanting this mantra. I tried putting this thought off since I've not had any initiation from any guru of this mantra yet. But i still find an ardent instinct telling me it's time I start chanting this mantra for further upliftment. I'm very duly sure that I can sit and chant this mantra upto 15000 times daily on those days where I take a sankalpa of chanting this mantra to get vishesha kripa of mother bala and hence she helps me achieve all my 4 lurusharthas in this life. Can you please guide me on whether I should take a sankalpa of chanting a particular amount for 21 days for her kripa and help in my upliftment without any guru for now? If yes, what amount of chanting can I do daily when I'm on sankalpa and what procedure should I follow in order to get achala kripa of Sri Bala. Kindly let me know. Regards.
