I would like to know the difference between the Panchadasi and Shodashakshari mantras, of course apart from the fact that the later contains one more akshara. Why is the Shodashakshari kept so secret?

well written and explained. I will like to draw attataintion to two words 'loksangrah' and 'rituals'.The non-attached people work for 'loksangrah'; they have no interest to perform their own work and are rather more ready to do work which is in the interest of society. They have expanded their circle from personal to family to locality to village to state to country to world and beyond. During this process conflict of intrest arises but they choose higher circle and thus benifits the society. This choice can confuse a normal person. As for 'rituals' this is not used in slok. rituals normally means work done asper 'shastra' or karm-kand. But meaning here is any one who is still attached and doing work with perfection, he shall not be distracted by 'jhyani' person. Example is that of a good shopkeeper / sales person doing his duties deligently and a 'yogi' comes and tell him and confuse by saying that you donot take God's name or do puja, is not good. rather he should create example so that he follws him volenteerly.
