Scholastic interpretation of the Holy Bible are futile and useless as the Word of God becomes alive only in the interaction between priest (Guru) and a devotee, very much like in the process of receiving a mantra described here.Lord Jesus is Guru, embodiment of the Word (Om or pranava) from which everything emerges and that`s what Bible states (In the beginning there was a Word). Lord Jesus met the darkness of the Kali yuga age that accepts falls teachers and is rejecting true spiritual authority. He came to bring light to the fallen Western world. The pride described in this discourse is to be understood as a quality which makes one unable to approach a Guru and to find a guidance without which he is lost. It is said that humility is the only thing a devil cannot achieve. Without humility and sincerity one cannot receive a Word, be it in the form of mantra or in the form of prayer. In the Orthodox Christianity to whom I belong, the spiritual voyage is not possible without a spiritual master or a Guru.Kali yuga is advancing and its description given in the Puranas do resemble what we imagine saying - the end of the world. Maybe, just maybe, Kalki avatar will be the One whom all religions are expecting. That would be the only way of entering Satya yuga - reestablishing of Sanatana Dharma.

What is atma bija, i.e. how it is determined? Is the described procedure necessary for prasidha mantras also?

I`m sorry for posting so many questions at once, but you right so clear and I can`t resist asking. How do you see Kali yuga and Raja and Jnana yoga. Ramakrishna has adviced Bhakti yoga and japa as the means of realazing the God as even the simpliest meditation proves to be hard for people today? Can a person chose Ishta Devata on his own, or should that be advised by Diksha Guru?

Can you kindly explain the concept of free-will in relation to Maya. Is there any free-will at all?In a Jyotisha concept there`s a principle of the upachaya (growing) houses that are also known as trika houses(Ka or Brahma akshara which implies creation - these are responsible for our creation/subsequent births due to ripus). It is said that life is a kshetra where one must decide and fight against ripus or weaknesses of mind. Upacaya houses covers about 33% of the Zodiac which gives a percentage of free-will in one`s life. Can we say that our free will is applied only in decision to realize the truth. I think yes, as the realized One doesn`t change the circumstances but excepts them as he becomes the witness as you have explained.Regards,Tijana

It may be said that I have the symptoms of Kundalini syndrome. I am working through them. I believe that my chakras are twisted and torqued out of place mostly due to mechanics from weight lifting abuse. I've been working with an acupuncturist twice a week for 3 years as well as daily lengthy meditations to get my chakras unknotted. I've also been taking some supplements such as magnesium, a phyto-poppy blend, l-theanine, rhodiola, magnolia and 5-htp. I've used Lavender, Neroli, jasmine and other essential oils too. As I relax the clenching and tension through meditation, I feel more and more, the releases of 'kundalini syndrome'. I've realized that I have to heal and align my chakras and spine physically and pragmatically before kundalini can flow uninterrupted. I think most of us don't have an unblocked path through our chakras due to diet, stress, posture abuse, injuries, etc., and Kundalini syndrome might occur- OR most may just stay frozen and entirely detached from their bodies for a lifetime, with no understanding of subtle energy bodies. Anyhow, my point is, at least from just my experience- as I 'treat' kundalini syndrome with meditation and profoundly deep relaxation, I come closer to uninterrupted kundalini. I think the 'syndrome' is so pleasurable and orgasmic because these trapped stagnations, tensions and anxieties, are finally freed- pathways and qi is allowed to flow where blockages may have been for years and it feels like an internal deep massage- pressure from stagnation is released and removed from pushing against nerves and the spine. I've been lucky that I've been able to work through these blocks. I can tell that the 'syndrome' symptoms are subsiding into free flow. It's been an absolutely incredible and transformative experience. I feel as though I'm healing, growing and enhancing my health and quickening my karma, whatever that may mean.
