Brahmajñānā is knowing Brahman or the knowledge required to know Brahman. Brahmajñāna does not differ from person to person and it is the same for everyone. When it is coming to the knowledge Brahman, everyone is same and there is no difference between Guru or his disciple.

Sir, I heard Shridi Sai baba has given Brahma Gnana to many of his devotees. Is that mean they will get same Gnana as Baba? I feel Disciplines should be one step down of Guru even though they are realised souls. Please advise .

It is perfectly fine to listen to recitations. If you want to recite, follow the audio CDs where in recitals are rendered at moderate speed. You can look for the one recited by T.S Ranganathan.

Yes. in general coconut shell is cleaned and polished with oil. this is known as vishwamitra patra. Bilwa shell is known as malur patra. Rajata and kanshya are used commonly. kapalikas use human skull cup known as mahapatra.

Thank you very much for this series of navavarana puja. This will help all sadhakas. Worship should be done with proper understanding. Otherwise mere recitation of mantra has no value. mantras are prayers so sadhaka should know what he or she is telling. This series with meanings of mantras really please srimata in due course .

1) After sprinkle the saamanyaargha on self and all others present there, take some saamanaarghya as teertham with mula mantra. After that following mantra may be recited."Om aim hreem sreem jnaanatojnaanatovaapiyanmayaa charitam sive tavakrutyamitijnaatwaa kshmaswa parameswari" Then show khechari mudra.2) Following may be taken as teertha and prasadas:a) Saamaanyaarghamb) Viseshaarghyamc) Abhisheka jalamd) Madhura paaneyam (Paanakam/madhura jalam) offered during naivedyae) Jyothi prepared for mangalaaraartikamf) Remnants of "puja samarpanas" during navavaranag) Maha Naivedyam Finally distribute kumkum and flowers which were placed on Srichakra during entire puja to all who ever present their esp. all Suvasinis. My Gratitude:Grateful, very grateful to Shri Raviji for his invaluable (amulya) series. Hope, this series will be useful to all. There are so many books on Navavarana puja available in vernacular languages. But this series in English with appropriate explanations, wherever necessary, will definitely useful to the needy. My sincere thanks, gratitude and gratefulness to Sri Raviji.I only suggest the needy to use this as a guide. I personally feel this puja first learn from a renowned guru and then practice their own. This is my personal opinion only.

I have heared that if a sāmayikā participating in the pooja dint bring their aathma patra, he can use a coconut shell for this purpose. so it is clear that aathma patra need not be in silver, it can also be of coconut shell.
