My father died on the 18th of September this year. I am his only son and performed his last rites. I am a Telugu Niyogi Brahmin. His last rites rituals will be completed on the 29th of September which will be the 12th day of his passing away. My question is this:. My son's wedding has been planned for the 12 of December and his Upanayanam for the 9th of December. Can I continue to perform these two rituals for my son?

Thank you. 1 and 2 are corrected. Pañcapañcika actually conveys absorption and naturally different stages of samādhi are conveyed. After performing pūjā and tarpaṇa at Bindu, pañcapañcika conveys successive stages of samādhi and in the fourth and fifth stages, the aspirant becomes one with Her. Guṇa-s and pañcabhūta-s are gross in nature at this point of worship. They are more to do with creation and sustenance and not during absorption.

1) In ajapa mantra: There is no om. This is the difference between paranishkala kosamba and ajapa kosamba. 2) In Rajamatangeswari ratnamba mantra, sarvasatvavasankari may be added before sarvalokavaśaṅkari.3) Concepts of Panchapanchika: 3a) Panchapanchikas represent panchabhutas aakas to prithvi from bottom to top respectively. It is well known that aakas posses one guna, vaayu posses two gunas, agni posses three gunas, jala posses four gunas and prithvi posses five gunas. Total of these gunas are 15. Panchabhutas originated from the Brahman. For Shakteyis this Brahman is Srimata. All these 15 gunas are formed as panchadasi mantra of Sri Mahatripurasundari. That means Srimahatriupurasundari is in all these panchabhutas. In other words panchabhutas are originated from Srimata. This is the reason for worshiping of panchapanchikas here. 3b) In Taittireeya upanishad pancha kosas viz., annamaya, pranamaya, manomaya, vijnanamaya and anandamaya referred. Panchapanchikas subtly represent these panch kosas.

No, it is not mandatory. But kundalini will ascend depending upon one's spiritual attainment.
