SirI heard that guru mantra is everything and supreme.So much that it exceeds even gods in benefits. I have not seen any where online or from any practitioner of mantra saying so.If you have any idea on this coukd you please tell me how guru mantra is everything ?Thank you

There is no judgment being passed, maybe I am not even worth to be the dust of the author's feet. It was our opinion. We are a community of Sri Vidya Temple, New York and we were discussing this concept.We are not disputing the atma bija. It is like finding starting letter of Name for the child based on its birth Star. Based on the 5th bhava or Lagna or favourable grahas we can find a favourable gods/beejas for the native. This is being done in astrology. However, we do not agree in applying this to Mahashodasi mantra as it distorts the structure of the mantra. We always go back to the scriptures to verify our doubts and did not find any evidence supporting this theory.We have seen some web sites of Sri Vidya offering atma beejas for Rs 2000 and there is an astrologer in New York offering atma beeja for $100. It seems good business for finding atma beejas, great profitability. The dangerous part is when people mix atma beejas with Mahashodasi which has no scriptural backing. It is like people jazzing up veda mantra like gayatri and mritunjaya, these mantras are not to be modified into pop/ disco tunes. In the same way, Mahashodasi mantra is not to be modified. There are mantras like Hanuman Chalisa, which can be played around in disco tune but not Mahashodasi.There is every possibility that we might be wrong, but we are just expressing our opinion and not judging anybody. The author is a learned person and is a truly blessed person. Best Regards!

With due respect to your comment,you need to read all what Raviji said before making any judgment. Raviji's Guru is from the lineage of great Sri Vidya masters and learned all from his Guruji and about the most secret teachings to replace second Om with atma bija.and what is "Sri Vidya community "?I know that Sri Vidya is a secret teaching to get liberated and given to sincere seekers only and not a community.

TO THE AUTHOR OF THIS ARTICLEFirstly, I apologise to the readers for choosing to remain anonymous and thank the author for allowing me to remain so.Manblunder is an excellent website for Sri Vidya nuggets of gold. However, there are certain sections which require validation from the actual source. For instance, the replacement of the second OM in Mahashodasi with the atma bija, is not followed by any of the traditional schools. Some astrologer cum Sri vidya upasaka would have developed this concept into sri vidya upasana. We did not find any authentic information for this application in Sri vidya upasana. My humble opinion is we need not disturb the moola mantras found by rishis.We believe this concept of replacing the second OM in Mahashodasi with atma bija, crept into sri vidya to make the disciple to come near to the Guru but it lacks scriptural backing and has the potential to mislead the disciple.Already sri vidya has lot of structured rules as per parsurama kalpa sutram. Please apply those things and stop the curiosity of learning after some time . Otherwise entire life will go vain. Having opined on the application of the atma bija to the second OM in Mahashodasi, I once again thank the author for allowing me to remain anonymous and congratulate him for his dedication to Lalita devi and his other wonderful writings.Some of us, on behalf of our Sri Vidya community wish him all the best.Best Regards!

"They have to approach a realized person to take them forward in their spiritual path" In this world of false pretences, we meet only people who claim to be realized. Never trust a person who claims he can provide you salvation without even meeting you. Realization mostly comes only through austere spiritual practices, unless one is immensely blessed like King Janaka. See whether your potential teacher is simple, honest, not interested in boasting, flattery or money. The chances are that he might be a true guru.
