As per the Āmnāyas, the mantras are different. The article you mentioned, makes a very good case for doubting the authenticity of the derivation of this form of the Parāṣoḍaśī mantra, however this mantra is mentioned in various Mantra text books and appears to be widely accepted and hence cannot be dismissed. There may be other secret forms of the Parāṣoḍaśī mantra that are kept highly secretive and not generally known.

Namaste Rohit. The answer to your question is quite simple. Lalita chose the most competent deities (Vac Devis) to describe herself and her battle formation. Everything described by the Sahasranama is the most efficient way. Therefore, what is taught in Lalita Sahasranama is superior to what is taught by other personalities. There are several ways to reach the same goal. The Vac Devis described the most effective way.

Namaste Tripuraghna, Thank you for sharing enlightening insights. The Lalitasahasranam contains some verses related to Kundali and associated chakras, deities, chakra colors, beejas, etc. which are different and perhaps in coded form compared with other more "traditional" kundalini meditation systems. Will appreciate any insight you may have about this. Thank you.

Namaste. The Lalita Sahasranama is to be recited only by devotees of Lalita Mahatripurasundari. Each deity has its own Sahasranama describing the glory. If we want to become intimate with a deity, we must avoid mixing things up. Bala Tripurasundari Sahasranama (without the meaning) can be found on the website sanskritdocuments.org. The meaning of Sahasranama names are quite deep and sometimes internet interpretations are very shallow. Ideally, you should learn the full meanings by the grace of a Guru, but if you don't have one available, you can calmly meditate on a different name each day. With the grace of the Divine Mother you will certainly understand the material and esoteric meaning of each name. Everything Tivra Ji said is correct. What you said is correct. Jīvā Karuṇai is something that can only be achieved by the grace of the Divine Mother. You must have a lot of devotion and do your best to follow the right path. You must say: 'Mother, I am so bad, I have so many faults, I have so many sins! Mother, the sum of the sins of my innumerable past lives is as immense as the seven seas, if you consider even a single fragment of my sins I have no hope of being saved. Mom, even with all this you still let me live to fight. Mother, give me the intelligence to love all beings in the best way and always do what must be done. Mother, I am so small." Having first the humility to know one's smallness and incapacity before the Mother, the devotee can become big and reach greater and greater heights, but the arrogant devotee will be humbled until he recognizes his own shortcomings.

Namaste Krishna. It is an honor to be able to collaborate with this website whose work has been so sincere over the years. I know about this Pratyangira incident. They distorted the Sahasranama of Sumukhi/Matangi and said that it is the Sahasranama of Atharvana Bhadrakali Maha Pratyangira. This happened by the will of the Divine Mother Herself because this Sahasranama is a delicate matter and She fears that it will be misused. What is problematic when talking about Pratyangira is the tremendous power of devotees to bless or curse anything. The devotee can literally destroy entire families if he accidentally says something wrong. No army is greater than that of Atharvana Bhadrakali. The nine Kalis are there, all the Yoginis are there, all the Bhairavas are there. Everyone who is terrible is there in her army. Lalita Tripurasundari was "nice" when she assembled her army, but as Atharvana Bhadrakali it is something difficult even to look at. Of Bhairavas alone, there are an indefinite number of them in her army. I don't know... if it's up to her I'll delve deeper into this at some point.

Namaste Luck. Ardent devotion allied to Śrī Śivapañcākṣarī Mahāmantraḥ will always be the supreme prayer of Lord Śiva.

Pranam Tripuraghna Ji, can Chandi path be done without initiation? Are utkeelan and Shaap Vimochan mantras given in the Gita Press Durga Saptshati book authentic? How effective is Beej-Mantratmak Durga Saptshati? Also, if you have time, please write something about Sri Ucchista Ganpati and his secret Sahasranaama Thank you!

Namaste Tripuraghna ji. Many thanks for your explanation. The word Army reminded me of a scene in a dream. I got to know of Maa Pratyangira 4-5 years back. Out of excitement I prayed to Her before going to sleep. Saw Her marching very fast in a battlefield with Her army. Understood what you wanted to convey. Reading your posts here, feels like Maa Raj Shyamala herself is narrating.

Namaste Swati. I will transcribe a fragment from the Lalitopakhyana which I believe is the best solution for you. Many people who read it will relate. This is applicable to other deities: "67-70. If a person endowed with devotion worships the deity continuously without any desire (in return for worship), if he repeats the Mantra to his fullest capacity meditating upon her, she herself shall bear the burden of his weal in this world and accomplish liberation for him. Always staying near him, she will tell him everything. Just as the lowing cow follows the calf so also the goddess shall follow her devotee who has sought refuge in her. 72-74 If a man places his burden on Śrīdevatā, the burden of responsibilities etc. of this world as well as that of the other world and concentrates his mind always on her, if he is favorably disposed towards all everywhere, if he is devoid of antagonists , if without having any one else as his refuge, he prays to Gaurī exclusively stead-fastly to protect him, if he has the confidence that she will protect him, if his aim and purpose is solely her service and if he is eager to serve and worship her that activity is Śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge). 75. If at any time people praise him or censure him, the man who has sought refuge in the deity thinks like this—“Let the worlds censure or let the people praise”. After thinking thus and after observing his own form with good intellect, he ceases to experience pleasure or sorrow. 76-77. Śaraṇāgati consists of six aspects thinking about favorable things, avoiding unfavourable things; faith that (the deity) will protect, requesting the deity for protection, surrendering his own self and Kāruṇya (Piteousness or seeking compassion). After surrendering oneself one should dedicate the five Aṅgas (all the five actions of the body). There is no other means like this to achieve worldly enjoyment as well as liberation from Saṃsāra. 78-81. The following qualities are meant for the attainment of perfect knowledge. The devotee shall always practice them—absence of pride, absence of hypocrisy, avoidance of violence, forbearance, straight-forwardness, cleanliness, steadiness, self-control, non-attachment to the objects of senses, absence of egotism, careful observation of the evils of birth, death, old age, ailments and misery, absence of attachment, continuous even-mindedness irrespective of the desirable or undesirable happening or occurrence, unswerving devotion to the deity, without thinking of other things. 82-83. He who works for the deity, he who has her dela for his dela goal, who is devoted to her, who avoids attachment and who bears no enmity to any living being attains the greatest Śrī." (Lalitopakhyana)
